1388. Jeepcut1 : I was adopted in 1963 at birth through cathlic charities . Through nathional locator I connected with my birth mother 20 years ago along with all of the maternal side of the family. As a closed adoption and years passed very little could me drawn out of my birth mother but I share whats known. Juith Florance was either 17 or 18 when became pregnant ,was sent the a unwed girls home for the duration. It was in St’Louis city/county somewhere.She resided in Maplewood .Birth hospital was Bethesda General Hospital. I was given the name of her oldest brother (William F Florance). She had dated the birth father for a period of time but when sent away he was pushed away by the family. Some limited information I have if him is as follows. age approx 73-80 , he might have had original ties to southern Illionios (maybe around cairo) , he worked at Scullan Steel for a period of time. He also did try to offer assistance for the first few months with a negative responce for her parents so the contact faded with time. His ethnisity is unknown but he was darker complected with dark hair. There was some indication that was not wealthy or extensively educated.

KJohnson68 : Kent Michael Johnson was legally adopted by Mary Jean Johnson and Kenneth Marshall Johnson on October 14, 1969 although, he was brought home in May of 1968 and lived with his adoptive parents before the adoption and name change legally occurred. Kent was born in Marshall, Missouri, Saline County at 1:06PM. The birth certificate was Signed on May 6th, 1968, received by the local registrar on May 7th, 1968, and filed on May 9th, 1968. The state file number for the birth certificate is 68-21838. His biological mother’s name is Karen Kay Collins, and our documents state that the biological father is unknown.
The adoption took place through the Circuit Court of Cole County, Missouri. The file number for the legal adoption is 1706.
Kent has taken an Ancestry DNA test and has not found any close relatives yet.
