A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
2941. R4yn3_s70rm : I am looking for my baby boys who were taken many‚ many years ago. Derek [05/27] and Damien (Wyatt) [10/17]‚ I have thought about and loved you both every second of every day for the past 18 years‚ counting down the minutes until I can try to make contact. Derek‚ you are 18 now and I would love to know you both. I can’t count how many times I have pondered what your voice sounds like or how you look when you smile. I will always be here‚ waiting for you two. I don’t know what you might have been told but I promise you were always wanted and I fought for you as hard as I knew how. I hope you have had a safe and happy life with your adopted ‘parents’ and I pray someday to know you.
I love you boys.

2944. DJosephineclark : I’m searching for my grandmother’s birth family. Her name was Dona Josephine Clark after adoption. I know nothing about her adoption. Her parents refused to ever give her any information. After her death at age 37‚ my own mother continued and passed at age 50. So now it is my legacy. Josephine was adopted by Rufus and Florence Clark sometime between 1913 and 1918. I can find no baby pictures that look younger than 2-4 years old. They lived in St. Louis‚ Missouri but may have gone out of state. I have DNA matches from Alton‚ Illinois. Surnames are Wallace‚ Townsley‚ Prater‚ Nabb and others. Most everyone that may know has passed away but I would still like to solve this family puzzle. My grandmother’s picture is the profile pic.
2945. DeannaLea : My mother‚ Barbara Covington‚ gave birth to a son in a Kansas City hospital in July of 1965. She gave him up for adoption immediately. My family would love to connect and hope this is possible.
I am unsure of the birthdate in July. But have taken a guess here.
2946. Carolynskid : Looking for my birth daughter. She was born in Columbia‚ Mo on May 11‚ 1990. Adopting family gave her the name Samantha. I used Catholic Charities to find a family for her.
2948. Blanch : My son was given up for adoption by my parents Tom and Mary Bennett. Jackson County hospital/Truman Medical Center East. Possibly Catholic Charities of Kansas City. His birth name was Douglas Anthony Hodges .
2949. Michellejohnson1987 : I am looking for two adopted siblings that my dad had when he was very young by two different young ladies I’m one of a boy which would be the youngest one and then other one was a girl which would be older this took place between 78 and 81 I know the mother’s name of the girl was Leanne Lincoln and the mother’s name for the boy was Linda I don’t know the last name I do know that she went to Northeast high School or school in Northeast Missouri and then I do know Leanne Lincoln went to I believe St Mary’s private school I do know Leanne get the little girl for adoption but I believe Linda kept the little boy I am the sister of both of them will have sister and I was just curious to reach out and maybe meet them
2951. Caitling : I’m looking for my great grandmothers son and his family if any. Her name was Mary (Molly) Ann Ryan from Ireland but was sent to gave birth in St Louis‚ Missouri before returning home in 1923. She was catholic and the adoption may have been casually through the archdiocese of St. Louis.
The profile picture is of my great uncle Michael - maybe there is some similarities.
2952. Chrissyh75 : My name is Christina Hoover. I am looking for my granddaughter Sirena Melinda Robinson. Her last name may have changed. She was born in Columbia‚ Missouri to Melissa Kaye Stevens. Her father‘s name was Brant Robinson. She was born April 20 in 2008 or 2009. She has a brother that was adopted with her named Damion Who was born A year or two after her and I’m not sure if they are together or adopted apart. The last I knew is that she was in Kansas with her brother and the people that had her wanted to adopt them. I was contacted in 2011 or 12 to take The children in‚ but I could not because I did not have a safe place to live. Her mother is also looking for them and we just want to know that they are OK and maybe someday when they’re old enough to meet them. We still love them very much‚ and Melissa thinks of them every day.
2954. Kcmo816 : Hello‚ my name is Tasha Dotson‚ and I was adopted shortly after birth at Truman West Hospital in Kansas City‚ Missouri. I’m currently 36 years old‚ and I have a curiosity about my ethnic background‚ as I suspect I may be of mixed heritage. I was adopted into a white family‚ and over the years‚ I've come to believe that some of the information I've received about my background may not be entirely accurate. My goal is to connect with any biological family members or gather more information about my origins‚ as it's important to me to understand where I come from.
2955. LPMorgan : My mother gave birth to a boy somewhere between January and may of 1962 in Springfield Missouri. I’m not sure if it was a private or closed adoption. Her name was Donna Jean from Kewanee Illinois.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
