The only information I have in regard to my birth Mother is she was 16 at the time of my birth and apparently did not know that last name of my father. The adoption agency advised my parents that I should often be checked for diabetes as my birth-grandmother apparently was an extreme diabetic.
2053. MelodyHorn : I was born 05/20/1969 in St Louis Missouri at the Salvation Army Hospital. I stayed with my birth mother for 5 days at her request. My adoption was arranged through the Seventh Day Adventist church prior to my birth. We were told that my mother was very young but insisted I have a Christian upbringing. She had named me Evelyn. My adopted parents are David and Nita Dobson. They lived in Illinois at the time of my birth. I would like to thank my biological mother...it had to be difficult to give me up.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
