1833. Laurapierce : Looking for a brother who was given up for adoption by our mother in 1967‚ the same year in which I believe he was born in Seattle. She lived at a home for unwed mothers‚ I believe it was called Florence Crittenton.
1834. JPeel : Looking for the parents of my husband. He was adopted through the Catholic Church in St. Louis area. His mom was a teen girl (19) who went to a girls home run by the Catholic Church at the time to live until she had him. His name was changed after adoption. His birth mom named him Christopher. It was changed when the adoption took place.
1839. Kaylamor : Lana Faith Davis born to Alice Lee Davis (Some known and possible last names of Davis: Johnson, Spilker, Vetter, Walters, Humphrey, Davis)
Lana became Grace Ann Davis. Believed to have been born in MO. Mother lived in IN, was Alice Lee Walters at time of meeting the father, who was Robert E. Davis who was a State Police officer, and she moved to MO apparently to family members for the birth. It is unlikely her and Davis were actually married, but unknown at this time. Mother died in FL. Alice was my maternal grandmother and Oliver Walters, her husband, my maternal grandfather. Grace (Lana) has four siblings from her mother Alice, one of whom was my mother. Two of those siblings are at this time of this still alive and living in IN.
1841. Nascarmom40 : I was born in Key West Florida on May 23‚ 1969. My brother and I were given up on July 10‚ 1973‚ and adopted at the same time in 1976. Our names were Patty Louise Craven and Jon Edward Craven. My father was in the Navy and think his name was John. My mother’s name was Daisy or Dixie.
