A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
901. RhondaDee : I was born at Connley Maternity Hospital in Kansas City Missouri. My birth parents were not married. I have a full sister that is 7 years older than me.
902. BrielleT : Adopted probably around 3 months and spent a little bit a time in foster care. I was adopted by an all black family In Columbia Mo. Im unsure of my race but light tan skin with extremely curly jet black hair.
906. Davidj1961 : sibling was born in Osceola, Missouri, the name of the hospital there is Osage Hospital.
Mothers name that gave birth was Dolly Fay Johnson or Dolly Fay Bulter.
Child was adopted directly after birth, birth mother never saw child after giving birth. Possible that family that adopted was from surrounding area of Osceola, Collins, Clinton, Windsor, Calhoun, but was never told where she was adopted. Years later I was told she was adopted by a family that lived in Calhoun, Missouri but can’t rely on that information as it is here say. Was never told who the father was that the child was conceived with. Just hoping to find the last link in my family to make it complete. I am the oldest son of 10 children which 3 were adopted and I have found them all except this last one that was born in April 1974.
911. Jgarland : I am searching for brother. Baby Boy Farr
He was born May 12,1976
Our mom’s name at the time was Sharon Farr (Sweeney)
He was born at the County Hospital. (which is no longer around)
Adopotion took place on May 13, 1976 thru Catholic Charities.
913. Wags42 : I’m looking for my daughter. She turns 18 this year. Her birth name was Kallie Jo but was changed to ryleigh, is what we were told. It was suppose to be an open adoption however the adoptive parents stopped communicating. I have pictures and know what she used to look like. I know her adoptive parents did conceive biological child or children eventually and seems to be around the time we stopped getting communicated with. The adoption took place in Missouri. We were told the adoptive parents names were Tim and Michelle, not sure if that’s even factual based on how things went but that’s what I know. I grew up and lived in Minnesota during the adoption. I still reside in Minnesota.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
