1143. JayEccent : all I know is that my birth mother’s name is Tamera Ann Barlow. She was 15 when I was born. She lived in Cape Girardeau Missouri. That is all I know so far.
1146. StlAnnie : Used Catholic Family Charities for the adoption agency. Chose the adoptive parents, Michael and Susan Whitney. Baby’s name is LeAnne Kathleen Whitney.
1147. Klukenbill81 : My name is Kimberly Ann Hope Lukenbill i was born on April 14th 1981 at Menorah Medical Center in kansas City. I’m in search of my birth father his name is Gary Lee Hope his birthday is April 23rd 1945. He married my mother Betty Lou Boly in 1979. He has lived in Harrisonville‚ MO‚ Grandview‚ MO‚ Pacific‚ MO‚ Point‚ TX. His dads name is Gordon N. Hope and his mother’s name is Margie Adair Myers Hope. His brother’s name is Brad Hope.
1149. Cmckee26 : The adoptee’s name was changed to Ellen Mae Miller after adoption. According to information given to Ellen by her adoptive mother, Helen Miller (she wasn’t that coherent at the time):
- Her adoptive parents, Helen & Bill were unable to have children and were in their late 30’s when they adopted Ellen.
- Helen was short with black hair, William was tall with black hair and glasses.
- Ellen was originally named "Wanda Lee"
- Last name was Frick, or Frack, or Fricke, or something similar, still not sure about this
- Ellen/Wanda was born 5/11/1957, however, she found another birth certificate with the date 5/10/1957.
- Ellen was adopted out to Helen and William Miller around the age of 2 we believe
- We believe it was a closed adoption due to lack of knowledge and paperwork available
- Ellen had blonde hair and blue eyes, she turned out to be about 5’8 - 5’10 and slim
- She believed she was born at the Willows, or another home for young mothers
Again, all of this is speculation from the adoptive mother, who passed away shortly after telling her this info. This is my mother in law. Ellen passed away from lung cancer at 54 years old, 2 weeks exactly after we found out she had it.
Ellen grew up to get married and have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl.
1150. Yellowmann1969 : I am looking for my birth mother and father. I was born august 1 1969 . i was adopted through Jackson co juvenile court. My birth mother named Marcia Dyer from Blue Springs missouri was 22 at the time was 5’5 and weighed 95lbs. she had curly blond hair with blue eyes. she is German Irish national descent. she meet by birth father in a bar. birth mother hid pregnancy until 5 months from her parents, they were upset at first but supportive after awhile, decided best thing for baby was adoption to have a loving home with mother and father.
birth father was 22 , 6’4 175 lbs with blonde curly hair , blue grey eyes. he was born in a large town in midwest. likes racing, country music. served in amry for 2 years. information i have says birthfather did not know about the pregnancy.
1151. Bbailey55 : I was told I was born in Columbia missouri in March 1963. I was adopted by Joe and Betty Bailey. They never have me any information about my birth parents and after they died I found no information anywhere. I have always felt unwanted by my birth and adopted parents.
1152. JillFran : I was born in Kansas City Mo. And was in a Catholic Orphanage for 6 weeks before adopted. I have a sister about 3 years younger and I believe a younger brother.
1153. Marcy1951 : I was born at the Willows in Kansas City, MO. I think my birth Mother’s name was possibly Betty Lou King. I was adopted by my wonderful parents in Iowa. My name at the Home for Unwed Mother’s was Marcy, I assume given to me by my Mother. My birth father re-married his ex wife and at that time I had two half siblings one, a yr older than me and one, four years older than me. My birth father apparently paid for some of my mother’s bills at the Willows for her stay until I was adopted on March 22, 1951. Did my mother stay with me until then? Curious as to where I was for 6 weeks.
1154. Chelle1 : I was born at St. Francis hospital in Cape Girardeau Missouri. Lived in the Sikeston MO area in the 1970s. Adopted through Lutheran Services. I am Caucasian. My biological mom was possibly in her mid to late 30s when she gave birth.
1155. Chelle1 : I supposedly have a half sister on my biological mother’s side that was put up for adoption, maybe 1960. Possible half siblings on biological father’s side. I was born in Cape Girardeau Missouri at St. Francis, Dec 13, 1966. I lived in the Sikeston MO area in the 1970s. I do not know the sibling birthdate and had to enter a date. I was adopted through Lutheran Services. I am Caucasian. My biological mom supposedly was in her mid to late 30s when she had me.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
