Was led to believe that I have siblings no information on birth father.
722. Findhim1973 : I know that when my mother was pregnant she was only 15 and was sent to a home for unwed mothers for 3 months prior to his birth and then immediately gave him up. I have been told it was in Kansas City, MO but cannot verify that is 100% accurate.
724. TGIERINGER : I was born at the Ketterman home in Kansas city Missouri. I believe my biological mother was named Roberta Rogers, and gave that name to me also. I believe he was from Excelsior springs Missouri. I know he had several children.
726. Ttrenn2 : My name is Thomas. On August 4, 1974, I was born and my papers show that my adoption happened in 1975. I was born in Saint Louis, Missouri and my adoption went through Catholic Charities of Saint Louis. My adopted parents are Tom and Marylou. I don’t know much about my birth parents, but that they had other children when placing me up for adoption.
732. Sneezer61 : In or around 1962, my mother was forced to go the Salvation army home for unwed mothers by her father. The hospital was in St Louis, MO. Her name at that time was Lucy Avery. She did give birth to a daughter whom she was forced to give up for adoption. My mother was also forced to take a medical discharge from the army air corps. I have heard the city of kansas city brought up as it could have been a destination. This is all the information I have at this time.
733. L945babygirlparent : I was born at The Cradle in Kansas City, Missouri and was adopted shortly after birth. . I have little info. about my biological parents but would very much like medical history since I have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes l5 years ago. So curious about my birth parents and any siblings I might have. So much to say. I have more info. at home. Ran across this website and really wasn’t prepared to send a personal message. Both of my adoptive parents are deceased. I never wanted to pursue this search while they were living. Now I can do it without hurting their feelings. I hope we get a good result from this. My name at the Cradle was Evelyn Evans .
734. Sunsetsabound : My son David Alexander Langdon was born in Richmond, VA, in the VCU hospital on December 8, 2010. At the time, his father and I were in a relationship. To protect my son from his angry father, I had Children and Youth Services (CYS) pick him up. After over a year of fighting to regain custody of my son, I gave him up for adoption, as I could no longer handle the emotional struggles that went along with attempting to get him back.
My son was with a potential adoptive family, but something went wrong (I don’t know precisely what happened), and so he was removed from the home, and sent back to foster care. And that is when I lost contact with him.
My hope is to reconnect with my little boy. I’m taking a huge risk to my mental health in an effort to find him. Please assist me if you know anything that can help.
I’m 28 now, and I live in Pennsylvania. I am no longer involved with his father.
735. NancyB71 : I was born in 1946, I am looking for my birth mother only for medical records & if I have any siblings, I have only found out that my grandfather lived in St Joseph, Mo, He did not want my birth mother to bring me into his home for fear he would have to raise me! I do not hold any grudges against anyone! But I am 69 yrs of age, would like to know something about my past.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
