A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
2521. Grayson11 : I was born in December‚ 1971 in St. Joseph‚ Missouri.
Searching for my birth mother.
All I know about her‚ is‚ as I was told she was a teenager when she had me.
I am a white male‚ blonde hair‚ blue eyes.
2522. Darceesbabyboy : I’m looking for Tate Carlson he turned 18 in may 2022 I’m his birth mother and would just like to know he is ok and had a great life. Love DARCEE
2525. SANDYSUN1970 : I have no names to provide. My adoption was closed and occurred in St Louis County‚Missouri. I have olive skin‚ hazel eyes‚ dark hair and it’s so thick . Tan easy and white as a ghost in winter. I am 5’4” . It would be a lifelong dream come true to find my birth parents. I have always had this deep want and need to know who I look like and where I came from. I have never had bad feelings towards my birth parents because they cared so much and let me have a wonderful life with my adopted family! I just would love to know so I have an idea where I came from.
2526. Angelaxr7 : My brother was born on 7/2/1976 and was taken from my mom on 7/3/1976 as part of a black-market adoption ring common during that era in San Francisco‚ CA. The baby was taken from my 14 year old mom as she was a runaway at the time. She was released from the University of California San Francisco Hospital (San Francisco County). My mom was initially allowed to see the baby (left unattended in a portable crib by her hospital bed). The next morning‚ a hospital employee informed her that her baby had died. They would not allow her to see her baby again‚ and when she asked about the burial‚ the nurse told her it was against the rules and that her child would instead be buried in mass grave. They had her sign some form resembling a "contract" that she didn’t understand. A few years ago‚ I happened to cross paths with a retired RN who happened to work in the SF area during those years with her husband who was a physician. She was quite familiar with‚ and apologetic for‚ the unfortunate practice of black-market adoptions at those hospitals‚ during that era. She was a wealth of information and informed me that we are possibly looking for a child with a birth certificate filed within a few days of 7/2/76 with the generic name "Baby Boy" on the birth certificate. The retired RN I spoke with mentioned that the hospital staff would not have filed a false death certificate for these types of situations due to the legal implications of filing a false death record.
On May 27‚ 2022 - We confirmed with the vital records office in San Francisco that there is a certificate of live birth but no death record exists for my brother which confirms he did not die in the hospital on July 3‚ 1976 and that the hospital indeed lied.
2527. Territaylor1010 : I just found out I was adopted by Maryland. My records were not actual birth certificate from Maryland. Looking for my birth parents.
2528. Aquarianeyed : At birth the adoption agency named him Matthew Lucas. The agency was called the Gentle Shepherd‚ located in Kansas City Missouri. The hospital was St.Lukes.
2529. Lisawayne : I’m looking for my 2 nephews. Their names are Tyler Anthony Zanzottera and James Wyatt Zanzottera. They were born in 2000 and 2001. Last I knew they were being fostered in St James Missouri. This was at least 8-10 years ago
2530. JanetAnnAdams : Looking for my half brother. Born as James Adams I believe.
I hear he was adopted and possibly moved out to the
mid west from the east coast.
My fathers Name is Roger Adams. I do not know my
half brothers mothers name
2532. Amigomama : We only know the first names of the parents‚ the Father’s name is Leonardo and the Mother’s name is Charolette‚ this was a closed adoption in St. Louis Missouri thank you! Also‚ the agency was done through Love Basket
2533. Lindsaysullivan : My mother who is now deceased named him James. I do not know if his adopted parents kept that name. He was born in St. Louis‚ MO with blonde hair and blue eyes. The year of birth is 1975 or 1976. It was a closed adoption.
2534. Lisbrywo : I was able to get my original birth certificate from the State of Mo. It shows my birth mother as Eileen Edith Finch‚ and her address as 4223 Blair St Louis MO.
The hospital is Booth Memorial Hospital St Louis Mo.
2535. Mlyden159 : My Grandfather‚ David Glenn Lyden‚ was born on 12/25/1921 in Kansas City‚ Missouri passed on 11/5/1994 in Shasta County‚ CA. He was adopted by Helmer G. Lyden and Francis M. Dickensen-Lyden. They also adopted a little girl 3 years younger than David‚ Margaret R. Lyden. My father says that he was adopted a couple of times during the depression before the Lyden’s adopted him.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
