A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
286. Tcheney : I am looking for a female adoptee born in Missouri around 1967 or 1968. Her birth mother was young and unmarried. Her name was Leslie Woodworth. She had a twin sister and 3 other siblings. The birth father was in the military and went to Vietnam at some point. I believe his last name is Plummer. I was born about a year later in CA and relinquished for adoption. If this is you, you are my half sister. We have the same mother, but different fathers.
287. Addy201900 : My biological moms name is melissa Kay hall. My biological dads name is john stone. I was adopted by my grammas (dads side) best friend. I know that when you are officially adopted they are suppose to give you a new birth certificate with your adoptive parents names on it. My birth certificate has my biological parents names on it. I have been told that if my biological mom wanted to, she could come take me out of my adoptive parents home and make me go with her and it would be completely legal. I DO NOT want this to happen. I’m trying to figure out what kind of adoption was done that this would be possible. And we won’t be able to do an official adoption cause I believe that would have to include my biological parents signing over their rights. I know melissa won’t do that and I don’t even know where john is. I just want some answers please, thank you
289. Moondreamer : We were able to get a copy of the original birth certificate‚ and we now know that his birth mother was Myrnea Gifford Bosarge. The father’s name was blank‚ but we’re pretty sure they were Welsh based on DNA results.
His mother was from the South but came to Missouri to stay with family when she had the baby
