1908. Curious84 : I was adopted from St. Louis, MO between 1969 and 1972. I vaguely remember my biological mother and grandmother being in the picture before my adoption. I believe my last name was Carpenter. My adoptive Mom says it was a long last name of German descent.
1910. Emilym1296 : I am searching for my boyfriend’s biological parents. It would mean the world to him. He wants to learn more about himself and where he comes from.
1911. Kimba1224 : This is for my grandmother. She was born at the St Louis City Hospital in Missouri on Feb 8th 1922 at 620 pm. Her birth mother (Elizabeth Marie Webber) who was originally from Hungary, named her Dorothy Lillian Weber. When she was still a baby the Sammlers offered to take the baby and give her a better life. Elizabeth agreed. She was adopted by the Sammlers in Illinois when in 1922. Supposedly her birth mother, Elizabeth Webber was an aquantance or employee of the Sammlers. My grandmother saw her years later at a wedding. Not realizing who she was at the time. The Sammlers named my grandmother Winifred Ethel Sammler. Supposedly there is special meaning with her middle name Ethel.

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
