I am searching for my birth parents... The information I’ve obtained thus far is they are of Romanian/Moldova/Germany/Hungarian decent. I’ve found out that a family immigrated to the US and their last names are ‘Schmidt/Schmied/Beglau/Kunusch/Stepanov’.
I also found out that there may have been another family that might have immigrated to Canada/USA and their last names are ‘Schwarz/Welty/Hamman/Mader/Hümer(Haters)/Black/Blacksmith/Smith/Smythe/Krumpholz’.... I am on Family tree DNA as well I uploaded to gedmatch as well...

My mothers name was Lisa (Kool-lick) her and my father were both in a mental institute when I was convinced. She could have been Italian. Curly/wavy dark brown hair. Was possibly battling some sort of health, maybe mental health. These are all things I was told. My adopted mothers name was Becky and my father’s was Len. Me and my dad (adoptive father) share the same birthday! I also was adopted couple days after birth.

I do know she and her adoptive parents, Randal and Alicia lived in Springfield Missouri. Alicia was a school teacher and Randal was a “business” man. I was 16 years old and we used an adoption agency out of Springfield Missouri.

SeekingMom1944 : My Mom was born in St. Louis, Missouri June 12, 1944 and somehow ended up in Springfield, Missouri under the care of an AME church member who may have been like a foster mother. My Mom was to be adopted by a loving farmer family, but a well connected pastor of the AME church from Iowa pulled some string and adopted my Mom instead. He and his wife raised my Mom in the church. She became a protege of the piano by age 6 and records a record sometime during her young years. She was told that her birth mother was a young Cherokee who got pregnant by an older Black serviceman in the military.
