1117. JessGoetz : I am trying to find my fathers birth mother on behalf of him. He was born to Carolyn Herndon on May 11, 1967 at Salvation Army Hospital in St. Louis Missouri. His birth name was Robin Sven Herndon but then legally changed by his adopted parents Jonathan David Koester. His adopted parents have since passed away and never gave him any details on his mother, was only able to find this little bit of information out by going through his adopted mothers things after she passed. Any help or any information would be greatly appreciated.

The birth probably took place at Firmin Desloge (now SLU) hospital and the child was adopted through Catholic Charities within a year of birth. My mother lived at Villa Maria women’s home before giving birth. The father may have been Donald Duffie. The Duffie family lived in Pine Lawn, MO. Both my mother and the possible father graduated from Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis, MO.
