2494. Emerald4664 : I was born in Springfield Illinois‚ St. John’s hospital in Sangamon County. Adopted through Catholic charities. My adoption was legalized in Missouri and my cirtificate was amended to show my adoptive parents as birth parents.
I have since gotten a non ID birth certificate with my birth mothers name minus her middle initial or name and her age at the time and birth year. No father is listed. Her name is Elizabeth Schmidt‚ (name spelling hopefully correct as I don’t have info in my hands at the moment) born in 1945‚ age 19 when I was born.
Been given the run around everywhere I call or told to go online and get what I am looking for since records have been opened.
I would like to have some background family info and possibly meet family members.
It is not right to have been kept in the dark all these years!
2495. KrazyMolly : I named this little boy PrestonJo Scott Miller-Clayton (although the state has had his name as Preston Jo Scott Clayton). He was born in Springfield‚ Missouri at Cox South Hospital (3 months premature). He was put into Foster Care though Springfield Partners and I do believe that’s who adopted him out.
2497. AdrianaC : My mom Rebecca Rola gave up her daughter in 1973. Her name given at birth was Christine Rola. It was at Sisters of St. Francis in Kirksville ‚ missouri
2499. Whitny : From what I know my brother was born at Research Medical Center in Kansas City‚ MO. My mother named him Trey Michael‚ but pretty sure he was renamed and the family was out of Overland Park‚ Kansas(I believe).
2500. Daynanichole : My parents have not said I’m adopted but 2 family members have hinted at it and my "certificate of live birth" is very strange and half of it is cut off and that’s the one I was given at the health deparment. Everytime i fill out anything for the goverment it says that my birthday doesnt match up with my social security # . My parents side step the questions without answering so I know or they would say I’m not adopted. There are numerous other huge indications ‚ my husband said it’s not just me( I’m a bit dramatic sometimes) it’s for sure a adoption situation he agrees .
2501. Auntnana72 : I was born in Richmond‚ MO on September 26‚ 1972 and adopted as a baby. My adopted parents lived in Excelsior Springs at the time. Looking for birth parents.
2503. LoriDavault1 : Ruth Elizabeth Roberts was my Grandmother. She lived her life in Lawrence County Missouri as Mrs. Ivan Theodore Mason. I’m not sure if she was ever adopted. She may have remained a foster child. Looking for her birth family.
2504. Kathykauffman69 : searching for my sibling. I believe he was named Patrick Matney. Birth mother would have been Marie Hill and father was Amos Matney. Born in 1966 or 1967 in Saint Louis‚ MO. I was told he was adopted by a doctor when he was about 18 months old.
2505. Jennieyanke1979 : His name when adopted was Frank Earnhardt Rendon.
He was born in Kansas City Missouri at North Kansas City hospital.
He was 5 years old when he got adopted.
Real mothers name is Roxie A Boling and His fathers name is Frank Rendon.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
