1053. Monmarie72 : This child was born at St Johns Mercy hospital in Springfield, MO. His original name was Rober Patrick Hufferd and was adopted at a few months of age. Prior to adoption he was placed in foster care with the Division of Family Services. The case worker for the foster care case was Lillian Phillips. I am not sure I have the birth month correct but the rest of the information is correct. His mother is Vivian Mary Hufferd. I am his sister and would like to find him. The only thing I know about the adoptive parents is that supposedly they were Catholic as it was important to my mom that he was raised in a catholic family. I don’t know if they in fact were or not but that is what the case worker told her.

I was TOLD I had a heart murmur at birth, that I was adopted through the state of MO, that i have two older siblings, and that i was finally adopted when I was 9 days old. Adopted by Jerry J Messer and Madeleine L Messer ( Mandy ). I found a close relative on the Leadbetter side, but still unsure exactly where I fit. I am either the grand daughter or niece of David F Leadbetter in MO. I don’t know whether my MOTHER was a LEADBETTER or my FATHER. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it! I just want to know where I came from. If any relationships stem from this then wonderful, if not its ok. It would be good to know health issues. I am not looking for money or hold any bad feelings towards my birth parents. We all do what we feel is right and needed and its ok that they gave me up. please contact if you have any information
