A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
556. Bluecourt : Adoptee was my father. He was never told he was adopted, He passed away in 2004 believing Violet Kuehn Court Blaske was his mother and Louis Wm Court was his father. Through DNA test between my sisters and other family members, that we should match, and don’t, this has led us to believe my father was adopted. We think Louis Wm Court had ties to Oklahoma. Louis Wm Court died in 1919. He had a sister, Marion Blaske Lamb, that was adopted. We have no living relative to ask that might know about this.
His name was Muriel Elmer Court, he used Merle Elmer Court for many years., He grew up with Louis and Violet Court in St. Louis, Missouri. We don’t have any living relative to add additional information.
557. SalaciousCrumpet : Seeking cousins I barely remember. You were born Jesse Stanton in or near Chicago IL, somewhere around 1975-1976, to parents Ron and Vicki/Victoria, and you have a younger sister named Sabrina. My name is Rhonda. Ron’s sister Dixie is my mother, which makes us cousins by blood, though we were probably all too young to remember.
While I am in touch with Ron occasionally, and know his whereabouts, I am absolutely NOT here to push you to get in touch with your birth father if you don’t want to. I am not at all in touch with my own, so I understand if you prefer to stay anonymous. I’m just putting this out there because I don’t have a lot of family and I’m curious about your lives... hoping you grew up with fantastic parents and had a lot of fantastic days. And if not... we can always share stories of how we overcame. :) Either way - I hope lives right now are as happy and entertaining as can be, and I hope to hear from you.

Bethesda-Dillworth Home for Unwed Mothers facilitated the birth and adoption in St. Louis County.
567. Elizabeth1207 : Hi, I am looking for my sister who was born in County Cavan, Ireland in August 1957. My mums name is Lucy Reilly who was also from County Cavan, Ireland.
On my sisters original birth certificate her name was Mary Brigid. I believe that she was adopted by an american couple and taken to America, but I don’t know how true this is because of the secrecy that surrounded adoptions in Ireland in the 1950’s.
568. MarciaC : Have a birth certificate with the name Jeanne Harrill. Born at Florence Crittendon in Kansas City, MO. Biological mother’s name Bernita Claire Harrill. Was adopted Nov 15th, 1951. Adoptive parents Mears O. McJilton and Anita S. McJilton.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
