602. BGallimore : Brandon Lynn was born in Union City, Tn on October 8, 1981. He was adopted at birth.
Katie (unsure of spelling but it was Gerri Katelynn of some sort) was born to the same mother. Unsure of birth location. I believe her birthday is April 10, 1993. I’m not positive though. If I remember correctly, she was adopted in Pemiscott Missouri.
I was adopted as well. There are four more of us. We know each other but have always tried to find Brandon and Katie.
604. Kathybabyboy : Mrs. Maryanne Lally was the Post-Adoption specialist. Kathy Weidemann lived at the Villa Maria during her pregnancy. Her DOB is March 6, 1950. Dr. Sanjay Ghosh was involved with adoption. The attending physician was Dr. Dahm at St. Louis University Hospital. The baby boy was born 6 pounds 1 ounce and 21 inches long.
606. Longing4MySisX211 : I was very young child when my sisters were removed from the home. I do not know any specific dates other than it was within the first ten years of my life. I know my sisters birth names were Amber Crowe and Catherine Jacobus. I also know upon the termination of my moms rights, they changed their names and ordered no contact. They were born in Jackson County, Missouri by Anita Crowe. My mom refuses to talk about this, so I cannot get any information beyond this. I just want to find them so badly, they were placed in a bad home. I just do not know what to do. I am currently thirty years old, Amber was older than me by a year I believe. She has severe Autism and did not talk much. My little sister Catherine was five years or so younger than me. Please help me.
609. Daftleopard : City could have been in Chicago for place of birth or just outside - during such time‚ and mothers maiden names on mothers side was Adrian and father was Scheppers and she took married name in 1967 was Miss E.K. Scheppers until such time.
I cannot provide any more than this.
As I do not have anything else.
I just know she left Missouri to take pregnancy to term and stay with a friend at the time that took her in.
I would assume she likely gave up the baby to an affiliation with a religious organization that placed it with adoptive parents. Knowing my mom‚ she always has remained very religious/ devout German Catholic.
Keeping this secret pregnancy from her parents was paramount and also to my sister and myself for our lives after even - never speaking of it to us at all. Only our father made mention of it that it troubled her a great deal she never reconciled with the entire matter no closure had been found I suppose for her or it is hard to say to be honest as my dad never was also able to get her to speak about it much either.
But we have reason to believe there definitely was a sibling out of wedlock prior to us with our biological father she married when she was 28.
Almost nine (9) years after giving this boy up for adoption.
I cannot determine if it was closed or open. Likely closed.
My mom had a very strange way of dealing with loss her whole life and that trauma wound transferred onto our family very much so.
This was a loss that remained with her the majority of her adult life and she carried heavily burdened heart hurt by it immensely.
Always the first to be super emotional during holidays crying for no reason out of no where and leaving a feeling that somehow something was not complete in our family - at least for her.
A lot of the time‚ it felt as if someone was missing in our family‚ which had been small as it was already‚ for years with only herself‚ my bio father‚ my bio sister‚ her husband snd myself. My sister and I are three years apart.
I don’t know if the person she gave up is ever meant to be found out there.
610. Deanstrahm : my daughter has downs syndrome and is now 26 years old. the mother was not married and has 4 older sons. i think she was in her 40’s when she gave birth to her. she was given the name anita but we changed it when we adopted her. the mother said that my daughter was born at home.
611. Pamela1956 : I was in Chillicothe girls home when I was pregnant. I don’t remember much but. Machelle lived with my parents Norma and Bill Koontz in Ferguson Mo. And they help me put her up for adoption in 77. She was three or . I was 20. Machelle has red hair blue eye, and a sister. I’m so sorry this happen to to Yo Machelle.
612. Genevieve314 : I am looking for my sister that was put up for adoption when she was born. I believe it was in the late 70’s ’78 ’79 maybe. Your mothers name was Christine Oitker and later married into Christine Fenton. You were born in the City Hospital in St.Louis Missouri. If you see this you have 2 sister’s and a brother. My name is Genevieve.
613. Lankie : Hi. I don’t really know much, but i was adopted in 1996. My adopted mothers name is wendy and my adopted fathers name is Jamie. I was told that my birth mother had redish hair and freckles, and that her name was Krista, and that my birth fathers name was fletcher. Please contact me if you somehow know who these people are.
614. Blawndie : Starting around 1968, my mother (Jones, maiden name Carlson) was a single Mom of two young children after a divorce from my father. She became pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl between 1969-1971. I know nothing about the birth father. It is believed the name of the hospital was General Hospital in Kansas City, MO. I do not want to disrupt my sister’s life, but want her to know I am here and willing to be a part of her life if she is at all interested in that.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
