1889. Pixi75 : Im trying to find my uncle. He is a couple years younger than my mom. He tried to meet her but she didnt want to. My mother was abusive. I do remember they got in trouble for making mud pies at the foster home. I do know my mother was part german.
1890. Jmom242 : Looking for birth parents names of my mother, Mary Margaret Batliner, that was adopted according to DNA. Her birth certificate list KC, Mo as where she was born. We have suspected she may have been older ( we have no pictures of her until she was 3 or 4) and perhaps adopted elsewhere. She is of Irish descent with a lot of family in NY state. Since my grandfather worked with Missouri Pacific Railroad and they had a boarding house, we have questioned if one parent worked for the railroad or if my grandparents knew the birth parents. Also names of Maloney, Hayes, Sweeney come up as relatives in the genealogy search. No question will go unanswered. Would love to hear from you.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
