My adoptive parents names are Lawrence and Jean Ryll
I believe I was adopted through Lutheran and Family Services
817. Wlliambrazelton : I had a sister also adopted who told me my name before adoption of dwayne Allen Bryant not sure of spelling??
Sisters adopted name was Brenda Lee Brazelton mine adopted name William MacDow Brazelton
Have a problem getting passport because the adoptive birth certificate has five year gap between actual birth and being received by register born 1947 registered as William MacDow Brazelton 1952 ??
I need information about adoption or something to explain the difference to passport people they are rejecting my adopted birth certificate because of the gap! Also adoption may have taken place in Kansas?? Font know but do remember moving back and forth Missouri and Kansas several times when young?
818. Schomeau : I was born in St. Louis, MO in September of 1970 and given up for adoption almost immediately. I recently received my birth certificate and my birthmother’s name was Sharon Tune and was 20 years old. My birthfather’s name was blank on the certificate.
Thanks,
Steve
820. Nanatoten : My mother gave birth to a boy at The Willows in 1934. She was age 17, just out of high school. Records at the Willows were destroyed. My DNA in ancestry.com is a match with a man J,M - account managed by John Mader. This man was born at The Willows in 1934. He did not know he was adopted until his 50"s. Mom had always been honest with us about the baby she had and had to give away. John is still living - yesterday was his 84th birthday. I have messaged, but only have heard from his wife. She doesn’t want to upset him. They have sent for his original birth certificate. I think that will be a dead end. His DNA matches all of our Mom’s relatives my sister, nephew and all the cousins. For me it says "immediate family". His wife does not believe the DNA. IN my mind, this man has to be my brother. I explained that DNA is what the government, the law enforcement, etc all use to prove who someone is or if they are the criminal. But she is still waiting for the birth certificate. I searched all these years only to be denied. Vary sad situation.
821. DebiThieman : I named him Brandon Scott Harper. My full name was Deborah Lynn Harper. Father’s name on birth certificate was Gale Goin. The adoption took place in Greene County Missouri. I hope I got the birth year right. Life has been a nightmare & I’ve tried to block it out. I tried to keep him but due to domestic violence & lack of money, he was given up when he,was 6 months old. I sent his baby book & a message to him at the time I turned him over. The case worker in Springfield Missouri has been contacted over the years but said it was sealed. I want to find Brandon & let him know he was always loved by me.
822. Jskinner : My adoption was a closed adoption in 1970. I have my original birth certificate. My name was Amy Thury born to mother Linda Thury. I was born in Creve Coeur, MO. My adoption was finalized in Farmington, MO in St Francois County court house. My name changed to Jennifer Meinz. I was adopted by Edward and Carolyn Meinz.
823. Shell44 : my two sons were Adopted at Ages 10 and 6 14 years ago they were residing in Omaha Nebraska that we know of their birth names are Norvelle Hykeem Horton 10-01-93 and Travis Deandre Rogers Jr.12-16-97
824. Red314 : Sibling was adopted by my mother under a false name is the city of saint louis Missouri. I do not know the birth mother name that was used (possible first name was Genevieve) and not sure of the siblings’ birthdate. I’m guessing. Hospital would possibly be City Hospital.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
