We are seeking the adopted son of our aunt, Mary V. Garbs Holt. Mary passed in 2002, but we have recently learned that the family of her biological son contacted our elderly uncle who was unaware that Mary had had a child in the late 1930’s or early 1940’s. We believe that Mary was sent to a Catholic Home for Pregnant Girls or to family friends in St. Louis. We know that the adoption records were opened for her son and we would love to make contact. Our hearts are open, we are looking for you, and we have so much to share.
2009. SherryFerge : My Aunt, Pamela Sue Antes named at birth "Barbara" was adopted at birth by Earl and Gayle (Mitchell) Antes. My grandmother Margaret Lee/Lynn Ellis (Bolin - married name) is her birth mother. Margaret Lee/Lynn Ellis was born on January 27, 1923, in Henderson, Kentucky.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
