A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Missouri Who Chose To Be Featured
2251. Angiewalker : My birth father’s name is William Vanderpool. He was living in Colorado when my birth mom became pregnant, she was working there at a ski resort. She was 19 or 20, he was approximately 25 to 29 I believe. I don’t know if he knew I was given up for adoption. I would like to connect with him and any other family
2253. Julia999 : Looking for my older adopted brother who was given up for adoption at birth. My mother was unwed and only 15 -17 yrs of age at the time.
Would have been between 1949 - 1952.
Really want to find you‚ I have been looking since 1994.
My mom has never forgotten you. Can explain more when I find you.
2254. Cjw1101 : i filled out this back in 6/1/2007 and never heard anything and so today i decided to try again not sure if my mother is still living but if she is would like to meet her if she is not living maybe she had other children and she told them about her first child and I would like to get to know them I know it has been a long time but if you are out there I am open to a meeting and hope you are as well
2255. Zutter13 : I am looking for either of my birth parents. I was adopted through an agency called The Light House I believe. I only know my birthparents first names. Alesha (not sure of spelling anymore as I misplaced my paperwork I use to have) and Neal are their names. The only other things I know are my birth mother had another daughter with in a few years older than me, and my birth father had a son, not sure how much older than me. My birth parents were never married either.
2256. Nkottke : I’ve been looking for my lost sibling for quite a few years ago now but I’ve not been successful.
My mother gave birth to a child in late 1948 to 1949
She gave the child up for adoption in either IL or MO.
I know mom worked in Chicago at the time and lived most of her life near St. Louis. She had mentioned Evanston, Ill a couple of times.
Mom says she got raped by her foster "brother" and the foster family was forcing her to marry him so she ran away and had this marriage annulled in Chicago, IL. His last name was either Wilhite or Willhite. She met my father shortly after this whole thing happened and then they had me in 1950.
Before she was taken into the foster home her name was Patricia Ruth Desmond, born in St. Louis. She was called Patsy and Patty.
If you think you might be my missing sister or brother, please please contact me. I’ve been looking for you for a very long time.
Thanks,
Nancy Ruth Schultz Kottke
2257. Noraborn1949 : I believe Charles Ivan Pennington to have been born during our mother’s incarceration in a federal women’s detention center. A family Bible records his father’s name as Hal Emery Pennington but we are not sure this information is correct. Charles Ivan’s mother’s name is Barbara Joan Stout Pennington. She has also used O’dell as a last name.
2258. JLFinch : 17Oct90 / St. Louis County / Northwest Christian Hospital / Kathy C Maupin, M.D. F.A.C.O.G / Birth name, David E. ******** / adoption agent Carolyn J. Riske (d. Jan 1991)
2259. SamIHardy : I was adopted through Foster Care in St.Louis City, Missouri. My birth name was Arion Keigler ( not sure the first name spelling is correct. I was born full term at Barnes Hospital and spent the first 6 weeks of my life a residentially facility.
2262. Rooberry : Looking for my half brother whom was adopted by his mothers (Julie leonard) husband. Brothers name is Kevin and I believe his middle name is Lee. I think the adoption happened in Missouri but could of been iowa. Julie’s husband had a farm some where near Ottumwa Iowa. Leonard was his mothers last name before she got married to the man in Iowa. This is about all the info I have. Our fathers name is Larry lee pearson, dob may 8th 1950.
2263. Bobbi03181981 : I am the birth mother and am looking for my birth son who was born on March 18th, 1981. My maiden name was Bobbi or Bobette Oleson. He was born at St. John’s in Springfield, MO on 3/18/1981. I only know that the parents who adopted him lived in Springfield, MO at the time.
I was 17 and unwed. I wanted to give the baby a family to grow up with. Supposedly the adoptive parents were similar in physical characteristics to me and the birth father. I am blonde, blue eyed and the father had dark hair.
I do not know if the adoptive parents were planning to tell my son that he was adopted.
2264. Foxystl314 : I was adopted to a family named Taylor I was born in St Louis County Hospital which no longer exist May 1st 1979 I am a mixed race and was sent to Saint Agnes I was told I have been told that that I have siblings the parents I was adopted to or both Physicians mother being African-American I just want to know where I come from my people are and if they’re siblings can I see them
2265. SSeabaugh97 : My mother, Kelly Seabaugh, was facing a significant time in jail. She had already been in jail on and off most of my brothers life. My mother made the choice to give my brother to her cousin. Almost immediately after her going to jail her cousin adopted him out. I do not want to reconnect him with ANY of my family. In fact I’m not sure I would ever want him to know I exist unless he was searching. I simply want to know he is safe. I’d love to see what he looks like now and how he is. I am his older half sister. My name is Shelby Seabaugh. I was 12 or 13 when he was adopted. His name was Conner and he is biracial. He was born at SE hospital, I’m told, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was adopted out when he was 4-5. It was a very quick adoption and the state was not involved. I am not sure if his last name was Roberts, Tillman, Knapp, Lipps or Seabaugh. I have no idea who his biological father is.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
