1173. Tgullyluv : I was born at St. John’s Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, the adoption was through Children’s Home Society of Missouri. At the time of my birth, my mother was 20 years old and her parents would have been 42 and 43. They are of German decent. My birth mother worked as a Records Clerk for the local electric company and she had a 13 year old brother. Her parents did not learn of her pregnancy until end of January 1972 and even though they supported her, they encouraged her to live with a friend until after the delivery to ensure her younger brother would not know about the pregnancy. My birth mother’s relationship with my birth father was short lived as he was African American and interracial dating was not totally acceptable. My birth father was not receptive to my birth mother’s pregnancy and told her that it was her problem. This pretty much ended their relationship, however my birth mother did continue to see my birth father’s sister periodically and they were associates. My birth mother was 5’9" tall with broad shoulders, weighed 145 lbs. She had brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.
1174. Helen13 : I am looking for my father. No judgement just want to try and connect.
My mothers name in Linda and she lived in Independence MO when I was born. All I know is he was a truck driver and they had a relationship. I was told his name is Roy.
I was adopted when I was 10 by my step father.
1176. Sarah1818 : Looking on behalf of my deceased father. I think his adoptive parents last name was Bishop or Baptist, he was adopted to Ruth and Richard Scott.
1177. WilmaPotts : Searching for birth father to Wilma Potts (birth name Wilma McDonnell - born April 1‚ 1960 at Homer G Hospital in St. Louis‚ MO). Mother’s name Pauline McDonnell.
1178. Ladybugj : We are looking for adoption records for my husbands paternal grandfather. His name was John Crawford Ferguson born 11-25-1891. The 1910 Census for Pettis County, Bowling Green Township shows John Crawford as the adopted son of Vol and Mollie Ferguson. As far as we know his birthdate was November 25, 1891, but we believe he was not adopted as an infant but are not sure. He also told us that Crawford was his original last name and he kept it as his middle name. I am not sure if that is correct or not.
1180. Chris88 : Looking for biological mother. I was born September 7th 1994. My name is Christopher. I was born in STL. Mother’s name was Deborah Wall.
1181. Travisc198765 : Hello I’m looking for my birth mother and or family my name is Travis Conrad I was adopted by Charles and BJ Conrad in 1988 through the light house agency in Jackson county Missouri where I was born
1182. JillFran : I was born in Jackson County,Kansas City, Mo. When I was born my mom already had a three year old daughter and then I believe sometime after my birth she had a son. I was in a Catholic Orphanage for 6 weeks before I was adopted.
1184. MEckart : My mother Patricia Stout was born in 1949. She gave birth in the 1960’s to a child, which is my half sibling. She passed away in 1982 when I was 10, and I have no way of getting any more info than I already have. She was sent away to give birth at a catholic school/home for troubled kids I think, and it was kept a secret. St Mary’s or Maryville Catholic, in Illinois, was the name of the orphanage.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
