Haw (now Phelps), who met at Morehead Staate University. I do not know my sister’s name since all documents that I have access to only list her as "Baby Girl Haw" or "Haw."
1281. Holleyj : My name is Holley Maria Jean Jones my full sibling is Jonathan Edward Jones my older sister who is a half sibling is Heather Jones our half brother who was adopted whom I’m searching for birth name was Dakota Smith our fathers name is Jason Micheal Jones
1282. Rtsc26 : I was adopted at 6 weeks old in Kansas City, Missouri. Only info I have is mother was single, red hair, fair skin, father was married to another woman. adopted by great people that I called mom and dad. They have passed away. just looking to see where I come from. I am retired military and have a good Life.
1283. Umpiremom : My Fiance Michael McDonough was adopted by his parents through Catholic Charities. His adoptive parents are Peter and Marie McDonough. When he was 10-12 years of age someone contacted him and told him he was adopted (which he didn’t know at the time) and asked if he wanted future contact. He responded to them "no" as he didn’t know he was adopted. As a result of that call he has never heard from his birth family since. Michael has always wondered about his birth family, but fears they may not accept him. I would love to help him fill in this missing piece of his life. If this sounds like he could be your adopted family member contact me. Thanks!
1286. Mbroughton : My birth mother had me at 17, she kept me for almost 7 months before placing me for adoption. It is my understanding that her father died shortly before or after I was born. She had an older brother and sister and her plan after placing me was to follow in her brothers steps and join the military. Oh and my birth took place in Jackson county.
1287. FrancineMartin : Your mother was pregnant by my father at the same time my mother was pregnant with me. My father Lloyd married my mother.
That left you mother with a big decision. I don’t know what Mary Ellen chose to do but it seems like you may have been put up for adoption.
Mary Ellen came from an Irish Catholic home. Her parents were born in Ireland. She was the oldest child of about maybe 6. I’m guessing she went to one of those homes for unwed mothers. But I don’t really know.
After about 30 years of searching I found Mary Ellen on ancestry. Unfortunately she passed away in Dec 2017. My father also passed away in July 1977.
So, if you are on this database I would love to meet you and to share info with you if you want it.
Your half-sister Francine
