2464. Erica131520 : I am looking for my brother who was born in 1993 or 1994 my mother flew me and my brother to an adoption agency that had over 30 pregnant women waiting to have there child to give to the family they had chose. She received 7 binders with info of 7 different families to choose from. I know the state started with an M where the adoption agency was located but don’t remember which state exactly. I know my brother was born with black hair and was a healthy baby. The people who adopted him gave me a my little pony toy before getting my brother. I would really like to find my brother so I can finally meet him and so my children can meet him and see what type of life he had as a child and see if he’s happy and grew up happy and to know I never stopped thinking of him.
2465. Aemiller39 : My brother was adopted through LDS services from Joplin‚MO. We aren’t sure if his biological father/family or anyone in his biological mother’s family is even aware he exists. My parents were around 40 years old when my brother was adopted and told his biological mother was around the same age when he was born. The story is she had grown children at the time and due to her age she chose to give my brother to be adopted by a family.
2466. Kperez0724 : Im looking for my Dads adopted sister.
Were from Texas and his mom moved to Missouri and had her baby there and then came back to Texas. Her name is Karen Thomas or at least that’s what it says on the back of a photo we have.
2467. Tabby099 : Looking for brother that was born at st edward mercy medical center september 25‚1976 8 lbs 2 ounces at 10:21am. The adoption may have been finalized in another state. I have looked everywhere. Very closed adoption cannot get any information.
2470. Jamieleg : I was born at my biological parents’ home‚ which I believe was in or near Bloomfield‚ Missouri‚ and then immediately taken to Doctor’s Hospital in Poplar Bluff-Butler County. I was placed in to foster care with a family in Jackson‚ MO‚ the family’s last name was Abernathy. I was around 7-8 months old when adopted through the state‚ by a family from Poplar Bluff.
2471. Michelleshope : I was born in Perryville county hospital. My adoption was through the state of Missouri. I was six days old when my adoptive parents got me.
2472. CAnne : I always knew something was not right‚ but when asked questions answers always changed. After passing of my parents I found my baby picture and a picture of my twin‚ look identical except for a couple small things. Would like to find before I die‚ doubt it was a legal adaption..
2474. Matttia8287 : I’m trying to connect my fiancé with his biological family. His Father is the one that was adopted as a baby. I’m not sure if his first name was changed but his current first name is Lance.
2475. Shady14A : The adopted person (my mother) was adopted from a home for unwed mothers. Her forename at birth was Alberta. She was adopted by a Mr & Mrs McGregor (or MacGregor). The McGregor’s moved to Bermuda where she was re-adopted at age 11 by Mr & Mrs Lightbourn.
At some point‚ the Lightbourns arranged for a birth certificate to be issued with the Lightbourns identified as her natural parents as Dollie Katherine Lightbourn.
Anecdotal Ancestry.com records imply that my mother’s birth mother is likely Leona Kerns (maiden name).
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
