1772. WendyJohnson1962 : I am searching for a male‚ who was born today‚ November 18‚ 1977. He turned 36 years old today. I was 15 years old when I surrendered my rights to my baby. I have reached out a few times to the agency in hopes that I could meet my son. His adoptive parents were open with him and he knows he is adopted. At the time‚ he was only 15 years old and was not wanting to meet me. I want to let him know how much I love him and there isn’t a day that goes by that I do not think about him. He also has two brothers as well. I lived in Lexington‚ MO. I stayed with sister Shore‚ an elder of the church for a few days‚ but ended up going back to Lexington‚ Mo to give birth at Lafayette Regional Hospital located right in Lexington. My son was not legally adopted until he was about 2 due to two families fighting in court as to who should be able to adopt him. Sister Shore took care of him during the court battle....she kept in touch with the family......the mother had written a poem to the birth mother (myself) and Sister Shore had run into my mother at a Christ Ambassador’s rally and shared all of this information. Sister Shore even had pictures of him.....however‚ my mother did not see Sister Shore again. Sister Shore was an elderly lady and lived with her brother. I had stayed with her for a few days.....she lived on some land...had a big cow....cannot remember the name...also had grapes......I long to be able to see my son.....I do not want to cause any interruption to his life.....just want to be able to see the fine young man that I am sure he has become.....my heart yearns for this....I remember him crying in the hospital to this day at 51 years old.....how I wanted to go to him.....but the hospital wouldn’t let me......I just wanted to hold him and let him know how much I loved him. Just recently my Dad‚ your Grandpa passed away on Christmas morning‚ 2023. He went to be with Jesus without meeting/knowing you.
