142. Lvalenti : I was born on December 18, 1979 in St. Louis, Missouri. My adoption was facilitated by Catholic Charities of St. Louis, and took place on February 14, 1980. If any of this criteria might fit your son, please feel free to reach out to me and we can compare additional details.
Thank you for your time, and best of luck in your search! :)
Regards, Lawrence
143. NicoleSW : My birth parents were ages 19 (mother)‚ and 23 (father).
My birth mother apparently was active and loved skiing.
My adoption was planned before birth. The adoption took place I believe a couple days after I was born.
144. BuckyPhoto : I am looking for my two children who were adopted together‚ Lance (older) and Savannah (younger). I understand if they don’t want a relationship with me‚ the adoption was the only way I could keep them safe from their father‚ but there are medical history updates they NEED to know about‚ that could be life-threatening. I tried to get help from the state before choosing to terminate my parental rights but policies at the time didn’t offer any supports. Having been emancipated out of my birth parents home as a teenager‚ and my grandparents and sister were unable to care for them… it was the only option. Their safety was more important than the heartache. I still love them very much‚ and hope their adoptive parents gave them the life I was unable to at that point in my life. They may be interested in knowing they have four younger siblings now‚ and their older sister doesn’t have a relationship with their biological father but is still in my life. She has a daughter now and a husband in the Air Force‚ and is open to meeting them as well. She has family in Southern Missouri and they’re stationed in the Dakotas for now‚ but will be returning within the next few years. I don’t live in the area anymore but can communicate remotely‚ and potentially make travel arrangements if it reaches that point. If they would prefer to communicate with me through someone else just for the sake of getting a thorough medical history‚ I understand. After the adoption I joined the military so that if we were ever reunited‚ I could support them and settled down outside the installation where I was stationed after my enlistment ended‚ to attend college and for proximity to stable military contract work. I hope I’ve become someone worth knowing.
Lance and Savannah were never EVER unwanted! At the time of adoption Lance was in a developmental Pre-K in Highland‚ Arkansas ‚ and may be neurodivergent‚ though it could have just been delays from prematurity. They may or may not have poor vision‚ and are likely very tall because their biological father and I are both very tall. When they were little‚ Lance had med/light brown hair‚ Savannah had strawberry-blonde. I’m unsure if place of birth is listed on their birth certificates after the adoption‚ but both were born in Mountain Home‚ Arkansas. They were in a foster home in Calico Rock‚ Arkansas. while I was trying to get help from the state to get us away from their father. It had been implied that they may have been who adopted Lance and Savannah‚ and it would finally make sense‚ why the foster parents there repeatedly lied under oath about their condition following time with me‚ that I had proof of at that point in time but the DCS objected my attorney submitting it‚ so the judge denied it being allowed.
I continually try to remind myself‚ that I was a smart kid at that point‚ and realistically couldn’t have given them the lives they deserved.
The oldest of their siblings will be an adult this year (2026)‚ and though he hasn’t asked in a while‚ he does want to try being introduced to his older siblings.
I’m sorry I haven’t uploaded any photos‚ I’m uncomfortable sharing photos openly online because of data/security risks.
146. Patticakes : I’m looking for Susie M. Carey, born in St Louis MO on May 3, 1907. Her mother was Gertrude Basham Carey (my great grandmother) and father was Vollie Carey. Gertie and Vollie split up and she took baby Susie with her to Chicago. She kept her with her for at least a year, but at some point between 1908-09ish, put her in a foster home for care, and then without her permission or knowledge, Susie was adopted by another family, and Gert never saw her again.
I’m positive Susie is dead by now but I’m hoping she lived long enough to have descendants - it’s possible she never even knew she was adopted. If your grandmother or great grandmother was adopted somewhere in the midwest (Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, or Kentucky), and born 5/3/1907, I’d love to hear from you - maybe we can solve a centuries old mystery together!
147. Mrsstuart15 : Hello all I was born in Kansas City mo. At Truman Medical Hospital, I have no cute who my mother or father is. My adopted mother passed a yr ago I have no sisters or brothers so it’s just me and my Three Kids. Anyway I’m hoping to find my parents!!!!!! Have a Blessed day
148. Alschreiber77 : I believe I was born in St. Louis MO. I have been told that my biological mother left the hospital unexpectedly the day I was born. The information the hospital had on them was false. The last name they had listed was Clark. None of which bother me, I am just ready to meet my biological family finally! I am 24 with dark blonde hair and hazel eyes
149. Tatwbass : Looking for birth parents and any possible siblings. Was born the the Kansas City, MO area on September 11th 1985. No real knowledge of birth parents, other than a possible maiden name of my mother: Rice.
150. Angv : My parents adopted me from Catholic Charities in St. Louis, Missouri on Sept. 15, 1978. The information I have from Catholic Charities is brief but says that my biological mom was a junior in college studying art and of Canadian descent. My biological dad was a senior in college studying to be a veterinarian and of French descent. Apparently, my biological dad did not know he had procreated by the time of my initial adoption. I am not sure if he ever found out although, it is possible he did.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
