1449. Jmckinney : My daughter was born in Rock Island County IL and placed in Foster care by her Mother within the first 2 years. I was aware of her birth but was not named on the birth certificate nor was I acknowledged by her mother, Debbie Ruark. I was contacted by a social worker from North Carolina and asked to take a paternity test. Tanisha was about 9 at that time and had been in a foster home for over a year with her older half brother Trevor. My understanding was that she was happy and doing very well. Her mother’s rights were being terminated and the foster parents wanted to adopt her. I signed over my rights feeling that it was best for Tanisha. I was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I had asked if my information could be made available to her should she ever want it. I am not sure if that happened. I would love to meet her.
1452. Earpangel : I’m looking for my half brother. Mom’s first born child. He was born at Watauga Medical Center in Boone North Carolina. Her parents said they were going to town. They took her to the court house and handed him over to Albert and Joanna Waters. His birthday is December 12 1957. We had contact with his brother. He said he was in the service in Kansas. Came home for a little while and then just vanished 30 years ago. Would love to know if he’s alright before mom passes. They took her second born also. He found us 25 years ago. So Larry has two full blooded brothers and 3 half siblings. Bio mom name is Iris Nellie Eggers her birthday is June 18 1943.
1453. ComlyWhite2019 : My father was taken away and adopted back in 1942. For many years he knew very little about his biological family. He knew his father’s last name was White and he was taken away from his mother, because his biological father was never home or supporting him and his siblings.
In the late 90’s his biological niece found him and showed us some of the family including her father which was adopted as well. As well as his mother Nellie E. Poush White, his half siblings, Beverly, Bill, and Jerry and his biological father Denver Thomas White.
When I had the opportunity to talk to Denver, I asked him how many aunts and uncles I have. His answer was he was a truck driver that drove from coast o coast and he had a warm bed and cuddle buddy at every stop.
So I am looking for my biological family that are the children or grandchildren of Denver Thomas White.

1455. RWillis : From what I was told I was adopted from a young lady that was not able to take care of me at the time. My mother (woman that raised me) use to help people of need and take them into her home and I was left in the care of mother (woman that raised) me. We lived in Charlotte, NC , in Mecklenburg County on the the west side of Charlotte in the Revolution Park area. I think I was born in Charlotte Memorial Hospital (Carolinas Medical Center).
