3122. Carol1977 : The adoption was done through the state of NC department of social services. The father I was told worked at uncw and the mother was a geriatric doctor. They had at least one natural daughter. The social worker who I was led to believe handled the adoption was Renee Hall‚ through New Hanover county. I was told the adoption went through in 05‚ but may have been in 06. I was also told that the adopting fathers name was William and the mothers middle name was Lee. I was also told that he and his younger brother ( both of which were mine) got adopted together. I've searched long and hard‚ even think I may know what address they lived at for the first few years. However fear of retaliation for trying to make contact kept me from knocking‚ after a while guilt for not being stronger when they needed me to. They are deeply missed and loved. They are forever in my thoughts and heart.
3123. Dec14th : I'm searching for my dad's parents and family. My dad died years ago and I only know a few things.
-My father was adopted around 2 years old from North Carolina
-His birth mother was very young around 15 or 16 years old
-my fathers adopted parents are Maria Ballard and Earl Ballard
-my fathers name given at adoption was Maximilian Earl Ballard
-he was born December 14th 1971
Lived in Columbia South Carolina the remainder of his life

I think I was with her until I was about 5/6yo‚ and then in foster care. Out of/born in charlotte NC. I wish I knew what our last name was and I miss you so much. I think about you a lot and I just wish someday somehow you see this or we get to meet. I don’t know why you gave me up but I forgive you and I just want to know you. I am 23 now. I was born July 22nd 2002. You have dark brown wavy hair‚ we stayed with someone who let me have a mouse but it died on a broomstick. I have a birthmark on my right upper arm. I hope to meet you again.

3126. Talday77 : Birth mother‚ Frances Wibanks‚ gave birth to a girl sometime in the 60's. Was told by family at her passing she had given up a baby girl for adoption in the 60s. Possibly father's name was Ray‚ idk if that's a surname or first name. The baby had dark hair and eyes‚ Caucasian. Sisters said N. Carolina home for unwed mothers or Tennessee‚ their stories conflicted. She married in the late 60s so id supposed the child was born early 60s to as late as 1967. She has one surviving son who has diligently searched for his sister.
