A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within North Carolina Who Chose To Be Featured
1531. Lgarland33 : I am searching for a sibling born I believe born in Guilford County NC or possibly Durham County NC in 1983 or 1984. I don’t know the day of month.
1532. Denise2221 : I cannot remember if it I was in Greenville North or South Carolina in April 1981.....it was a private placement and the lawyer’s last name was Thoms, I believe they adopted her. They misrepresented the whole procedure telling me I could get pictures and keep in touch with her. I am looking for her to destroy her life if she doesn’t know she was adopted, but if she has health issues, or knows I want her to know she’s okay.
1533. Mcconnellwt : I was born June 25‚ 1959 in Charlotte‚ Mecklenburg County‚ NC. I am seeking my birth mother and/or siblings. I have found a half sister and birth father who is‚ unfortunately‚ deceased. I’ve had a great life with wonderful parents. But‚ I’m interested in learning about my biological heritage.
1538. Sherrymason : I was born August 2 1972. I was removed from mother at 18 months and adopted at 3 by a man and woman I call my mother and father Wayland and Pat. I grew up here in blairsville Ga looking up to my hard working dad. I grew up here in the small town in Ga with my sister and two brothers. My dad showed and taught me everything I know. He was a extremely generous and well loved man around our small town everybody knew him and still do his memory will last lifetimes.
After I got out of school I went on to join the navy as a cook. A few short years later and lots of traveling I met my first husband with whom I had our daughter tarrisa.
3 months after she came along out in cali she and I flew back to my small hometown in ga where I put a single wide trailer on a piece of property my dad gave me and we called it home. Couldn’t think of a better place to raise my daughter.
Fast forward. I now have my daughter she’s 24 about to graduate with national honors with her billing and coding degree with two little boys of her own. I also have two boys of my own. 15 & 12. I also remarried 16 years ago.
The main reason I’m starting this search is my daughter is encountering health issues. Her father and I are both adopted. He doesn’t want to try and figure anything out. So I figured I would. So. Here goes nothing. 🤞🏼
1539. MEC1976 : Hello‚ trying to find my birth parents‚ or any blood relatives. I was adopted at two months old and had a wonderful life‚ but would love to meet someone in blood related to. 1540. Jenny859 : Looking for a 1/2 brother. My mother gave birth around 1963 *guess in Raleigh NC at a home for unwed mothers. Mother Patricia Ann Berry from Washington NC. His first name is Dalton and I believe was adopted from birth.
1541. Shelia68 : My mom was adopted when she was 5 from a wilks county nc orphanage. Her birthday is December 4th 1968‚ her name was spelled Shelia Irene‚ later changed to Sheila. She had 5 or 6 siblings and her last name was possibly Griffin or Griffith (not for certain).
1542. Dca1964 : I’ve discovered genetic family in Spartanburg, SC. Child’s seems to be the family name of the father. The adoption happened in Polk County, NC.
1543. Starkeykb : I have found that my mother’s name is Louise Holt and she was 22 years old when I was born. That would mean that she is 83 now. Previously lived in Pinnacle NC.
1545. Gram0530 : He was born at Novant Hospital in Winston Salem, NC to two unmarried older teenagers on 5/30. He was adopted around July 3rd, 1999. Adoption agency was Agape in Greensboro, NC
