Annie Mae Wilkins-Birth Mother
My name is Betty Ann Fields and I have an identical twin sister named Barbara Ann Fields.
Our date of birth is 01/04/1964.
Our birth mother was at least 3/4 Lumbee Indian and was from Lumberton NC where her motherTheodore Wilkins and her Father lived with the rest of her family.
We are trying to locate anyone from our father’s side of the family. half siblings‚ cousins‚ etc.
I don’t know if Ann and Coy were ever married.
Ann died of cancer about 25 years ago.
Our adopted parents were Lee Roy Fields‚ Sr. and Emma Mae Fields. They lived in Fayetteville‚ NC
as did we until after high school
The original adoption was only for my sister. I resided with our birth parents for 6 months before they split up and offered me up for adoption so I could be with my twin.
2748. Orphanjim : Looking for birth parents and any other family I may have. I was born on 7/22/1965 in Charlotte‚ NC. I was removed from my family at two years old and was in the children’s home and later in foster care. I was adopted at 7 years old. I have a card from attending a vacation bible school in the name of Jimmy Haney. I don’t know if that was the foster family name.
2749. Strawberri619 : I am looking for my 18 year old daughter‚ Shamya Marie Reid who was adopted by Gwenetta and Tony Reid of Mint Hill‚ NC. She was born at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. We were both in foster care together for a little and I ended up having my parental rights terminated due to her being in foster care over 12 months. In NC‚ they only need one reason to terminate. I had no real support and was young. I love her so much and I want her to know that she’s loved and wanted by myself‚ my husband‚ and her siblings.

Please respond if you believe that Robert Vincent McInroy could be your father or a member of your family tree.
Thank you - Nancy McInroy
My father‚ Robert Vincent McInroy‚ died in 1990 in Michigan and since then‚ I have been searching for any additional children that he may have fathered. In the past 20 years‚ I have found three half-sisters!
Dad was born in 1928 in Colorado and may have had a son on or around 1962. Ring any bells? I would love to hear from you - Nancy
