280. Nccoonmom3 : I was in the Florence Crittenton Home in Charlotte‚ N.C. in 1969. It is across the street from the Hospital where I had the baby at. The name that I had to use while there was Stacey Benson. I had the baby 2/1/2 months early. The baby had to have open heart surgery. He was born on June 24th‚ my due date was at the end of August. The Children’s Home Society was in charge of the adoption. My Daddy forced me to put him up for adoption. I sure didn’t want to but I was 17 so I made the best choice for him.
