331. Marr1961 : I think I may have been born in Mecklenburg County NC. On August 28th 1961. My biological Mother was unmarried at the time. This is all I know. My adopted Mother and Father are now deceased.
337. Blue002 : My mom from Rocky Mount, NC was desperate to escape her emotionally abusive mom and shacked up with a man named Robert 12 years her senior. He abandon her when he learned she was pregnant. She tried to give my brother a better life by putting him up for adoption.
It seems I have always longed for my older brother. I remember telling my mom that a big brother is what I wished I had more than anything and first learning that I had one. She told me how much she appreciated the family that adopted him and out of respect did not persue it further.
My relationship with my mom has suffered from wanting to meet my brother more than anything. I have recently learned his name is Mike and he suffers from heart trouble maybe worse than my mom. I long to meet my five neices and nephews but She wont give me more information to connect with him.
I think he lives in a northern state. I wish he knew how eager I am to meet him and his family. Even if he cannot forgive my mom, which if he knew her mom he should, I was not alive at the time so please dont reject me.
338. 00castle : The male child was born in Rutherford County, N.C. in 1968. He was given up for adoption right after he was born, the family has had no contact with the child since his birth, The child has brothers and sisters that wish to meet him.
339. Bobbie7 : I am trying to help my neice locate her sister that her mother gave up for adoption before this sibling was born.
Her birth mother was Bobbie Jean Deese, Sweatt, Evans who is now deceased.
She lived in Raleigh, NC, on Person Street at the time she delivered which was April, 1963.
Bobbie’s datebook of birth was July 24, 1946.
I have been told this child at some point wrote a letter to her birth grandfather now also deceased trying to locate her mother. But, he never shared the letter with the birth mom.
Bobbie’s daughter who wants to locate her sister is Tammy Evans. She lives in South Carolina now and recently had one lung removed. I am on ancestry on line and thought I could help her.
Two days ago, I called a telephone adoption help site who said they could help locate those who were adopted. They said they would have some one return my call, but they have not.
It is supposed to be a free service.
Can you help us?
