My adopted birth certificate says Mecklenburg County. All was handled by the department of social services in mecklenburg county. My birth mother was 24 years old. She is a white female who was stated to have been in good health. The birth mother had a 10th grade education. Her occupation was a waitress. My birth father was a 22 year old white male. He noted at the time of the adoption that he had some heart trouble but was in good health overall. He had a 10th grade education. His occupation was listed as a musician.
