That was in 1968. Soon they say there was an opportunity to adopt a female child. They adopted me - I was around 5-10 months old. My dad can’t remember- but one of us was adopted from Raleigh, the other was located through a Doctor in Lake Lure, NC. My adoptive mother is dead. She always told me I was the child of a college student, who discovered her pregnancy and was very determined to pursue her studies and career. So she graciously offered me for adoption.

Our biological mother gave birth to a daughter (me) on October 30th, 2004, and gave birth to my brother on April 13th, 2006. We were both given up for adoption for a reason that I don’t know.
