1036. HelpFindMyBrother : Hello I’m Sharon Brakefield’, and I am looking for my big brother born at Cleveland regional medical Center in Shelby NC on August 27/28,1980. His birth parents are Jonathan Freeman Pennington and Judy Kay Crawford His mom named him Freeman Dale Pennington but sadly
Was told he had passed away before delivery. However his mother was knocked out when he was born due to the doctor forcing her to take medication. She never seen him or got to hold him. She couldn’t even bury him. She believed to her dying day that her son was alive and stolen from her and adopted out. After about 14 years she contacted the hospital and asked for her birth records and was told they had been sealed and she could not have access. She passed away in 2012 but he has never left my mind! I contacted register of deeds Cleveland county to see if I could get a copy of a death certificate. The lady could not find his name anywhere she even went as far to search the entire year of 1980 and nothing. After explaining what had happened and what we as a family believe she decided to dig a little deeper. She did find out that the only reason birth records are sealed is because the child was adopted. I need help finding him. He was stolen from my parents.. if any of the dates or places sound like what you are looking for please feel free to email.
1037. BritnyGibbons28 : My mother when I found her told me I have a brother named Brian west Davis some were in North Carolina and I would love to meet him.
1038. Mark12051966 : We have found the birth records based on information of fathers name from other family members. The mother was using the last name of Hull at the time although she was still legally Baumgartner. Her maiden name was Mildred Mary Scheid. His father’s name was Milford Kenneth Gibbs and is listed on the birth record . She gave up her son named Michael James Gibbs within a year of his birth out of fear that her older two children may be taken from her by their father. Mildred did end up with her other children living with their father and remarried and went on to have 4 more boys, one of which is my husband Mark.

I was adopted in rowan county in the city of Salisbury, NC when I was 3 years old...I’m told I had siblings but I don’t know that for fact as I was a baby and don’t remember much. I was in several foster homes before finally being adopted @ the age of 3. I’m told my siblings and I were separated. We were not allowed to be adopted together..
1041. Angela41 : My mother’s name was Jean Angela Barnette she was born July 13th 1941 I think. On her death record it recorded New Orleans, LA as her birth place but know my mom was adopted and lived in Salisbury, NC and my grandparents had family in South Carolina so I’m unsure of where my mom was born..would like to know some family history.
1042. Nessaboo2727 : I was adopted at 1 month old after foster care. My moms name might be deedee. My dads name trey. I have a brother named justin i think.
1045. AFraz : I was adopted in 1969 in Henderson County, NC by Samuel and Dixie Frazier. They had 2 biological children. Then adopted my brother, Michael Thomas Frazier- he was 5 weeks old. That was in 1968. Soon they say there was an opportunity to adopt a female child. They adopted me - I was around 5-10 months old. My dad can’t remember- but one of us was adopted from Raleigh, the other was located through a Doctor in Lake Lure, NC. My adoptive mother is dead. She always told me I was the child of a college student, who discovered her pregnancy and was very determined to pursue her studies and career. So she graciously offered me for adoption.
