2581. OMGjessicaG : I was born in Charlotte‚ North Carolina. I am not sure if I was born at Carolinas Medical Center or Presbyterian Hospital. This was a private adoption and it was done through Social Services at the time. James Brooks Greenwood III is my adoptive father. Pamela Herndon Greenwood is my adoptive mother. I was officially brought home on February 18‚ 1982. We call this my “homecoming”. I was 9 months old. My sister‚ Joanna Brooks Greenwood was born on Feb. 16‚ 1974 and was also adopted (not the same birth mother). All I know that my parents told me
Is my birth mother would not disclose who the father was and they were instructed by an attorney to place an ad in the paper allowing the father the come forward. Nobody ever did. So I don’t think a father is listed on the original birth certificate. I did call social services years ago to ask about medical records but was told I could not have access without the birth mom approving it and it was unlikely I would find out much of anything. So‚ I never pursued anything further.
2583. Perrinsgamm : I was under the name Artie Lamar‚ while I was at the Florence Ctrittenton Home for unwed mothers‚ in Charlotte‚ NC. I was 18. I’m not sure what name was placed on your birth certificate. My full name at the time was Carolyn Joy Lee. I had the agency call you Daryl. My name now is‚ Carolyn Joy Lee Mauney. My husband is Carl Richard Mauney. We live in Mooresville‚ NC.

2586. LaceyV : White female June 29th 1979 told I was born in Virginia but adoption in North Carolina...told BM may have been a twin or twins in family‚ auburn haired and BF had olive complexion and dark haired
2587. Classytbyrd : Looking for my oldest cousin name we were given was Bonnie Maxine. Supposedly given to a Mrs. Carter running a boarding house in South/North Carolina unsure which it would have been a town with a Trailways bus station. My Aunt Elaine was a runaway pregnant teen. The baby was born before grand dad was able to find her. Most of our family is deceased now.
2588. BeverlyDawson77 : I’m assuming the adoption of my brother was in Charlotte‚NC. My mom said she gave birth at a home for unwed mothers in Charlotte. She did not give the name. She said the date of birth was April 12‚1965 and the baby was a boy.
2592. Savannahh : Hello biofamily‚
I’m a female born 4/28/96 at Mission in Asheville NC.
To my parent’s knowledge my bio mom was in her mid 20s‚ my bio dad was a teen.
My adopted mom convinced him to let me go and his family had no idea about me.
I didn’t want to seek anyone out if it were to disrupt mt bio dad’s life. It seems extremely unfair to do that to him if he wanted to leave this chapter behind him.
So I’m posting here‚ if you’d like to meet‚ I’m still in the area.
If you just wanted to know how I’m doing‚ I’m doing great. Had some loving parents‚ went to college for psychology‚ I work a steady job with a kind partner and a cute dog. I’ve done a lot of traveling and I really enjoy crafts and video games.
If you see this‚ know I hold no ill will. I understand how hard it is to much such an impact full choice. While neither of us will ever know what a life together would have been like‚ I hope you know my adopted parents were always transparent and told me that you did it out of love. It wasn’t easy for you.
Hmu if you’d like to meet. I hope you’re well.
2593. Beaglefloof : I believe my birth Mothers name was Dawn. My adoptive parents have been passed away close to 20 years now. I never got to have conversations about how I came to be adopted. Ive gotten pits and pieces from others but it would be nice to know the whole story.
2594. Demo21 : My 3 sons were adopted. My parental rights were taken away when I was in prison in 2011. My ex wife name was Sylvia Vicky Cole. My sons name was Demarcus‚ Shamorri and Kymani Cole.
2595. Daniel704 : Her name was amanda renea justice before she was adopted. We lived in Gastonia before we were adopted. Last time I seen her she was with a foster family in I think Dallas or Shelby north Carolina
