376. Stacey78 : Hi. My name is Stacey (adopted name). Was told my birh name was Melissa. I am bi-racial. My birth mother is white and birth father is black/ latino. Was also told I have a brother who is about 2yrs older than me named Eric, who is full white. Just wanting to know who you are, how you have been and get to know me and the family I have. I look forward to hearing from you!
377. Stacey78 : Bi-racial, girl looking for birth parents. Mother was married to a man in the military but had an affair and I am the marvelous product. Was told i have a half brother named Eric who is about 2 yrs older than me. Born in NC near Fayetteville. Was told i was born a little early. Was told birth mother kept me for the first few months til the husband returned. Just want to let you know I’m good and there has never been any hard feelings. I look forward to hearing from you and possibly getting to know you and you, me!
378. Darrellking : My Mother was born in 1950 In Raleigh North Carolina July 24 th her father was reported to be a College Professor at Duke University and her maiden name was Gloria Peck she now lives in Bedford Tx.
379. SusanLynne59 : I was a private adoption handled through attorney Herman Winfree in Greensboro, N. C. & was recieved by my adopted parents at 4 days old. I was born at Piedmont Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, N. C. on March 9, 1959. I weighed around 7 lbs, ?oz. I’m a caucasion woman with olive skin, hazel-blue eyes & thick, dark hair. I believe my birth mother’s maiden name may be "Fields". I have been told she was married, in her mid 20s-early 30s, & with 2-4 other children, (-half siblings to me), already, & I may have been the product of an extra marital affair. Her husband may have been in the service & stationed away from home during her pregnancy with me. I believe I may have a biological Aunt named Lucy Fields that was still living on Water St. in Greensboro in the late 1990s in what would’ve been my biological Grandmother’s home & had spent most of her working years at Sears Mailorder in Greensboro, N. C. & don’t believe she ever married. She worked in the same office with my adopted Mother & once told her she thought I may be the child her Sister had given up at birth in 1959. I have seen Lucy’s photo & there are many distinct similarities in her looks & mine & I have been told I looked alot like my birth mother. (-my father saw her at the lawyer’s office by accident 1 time) My birth mother wanted to meet the adopting parents, but my adopted Mother was unwilling to meet her. I happened to find my attorney when filing for divorce myself & he knew who I was almost on sight from my looks. I did not ask him for any information, but he said he remembered handling my adoption well. I don’t have any information on my birth father at all. The only thing listed for medical history for my adoption was bad/crooked teeth. I am now a young 58 & have dealt with Many Medical Issues since birth & have developed several potentially life threatening condions much earlier than my Drs feel I should have & they think they may be genetic. I would feel much more comfortable with more family medical history available to me & feel ALL Adoptees have a Right to this information!! I also was never able to have children & was raised as an only child with no close relatives, (in age or geographical location). All of my adopted family have died & I would also be open to make some new family connections if any of my biological family could be found & would be open to that idea.

I lived in Asheboro, Randolph County, NC. I look forward to hearing from you. I am now married and my name is Barbara Poole Eller.

390. Augustlmc826 : I am searching for my daughter who was adopted. Although her name could have been changed after she was adopted‚ at the time of her birth‚ I named her Leighanna. Her last name then would have been either ’Pacheco’ or ’Crank’. She was born in Chapel Hill‚ NC at UNC Hospital on November 1st of 2001.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
