1067. Zabbiegirl78 : Looking for my half brother (related through my dad). My half brother was named Steven David (after our father) and his mother was Debbie or Deborah Mann. I was told that he was given up for adoption around the age of 2 years old‚ possibly to a distant family member. Deborah Mann has a sister named Deanna Mann. I was told that my half brother’s birth date would be around Sept 1976. I think my half brother was born in Utah but could be wrong. I have no other siblings and would love to find you!
1068. Mgraham4466 : My name is Michael Graham and I am looking for my birth mother or father. I think I was born in North Carolina. My birth date is 12/16/1982. December 16th 1982. The adoption agency was The Children’s Home Society of North Carolina in Greensboro. This is the information I have about my birth mother: I believe my birth mother’s age at the time of my birth was 16.
When I was born she was 5’5" and 145 lbs. Fair skin. Light brown hair. Hazel eyes.
The birth mother was in excellent health. She had mumps at age eight and chickenpox at age two. She had two episodes of asthma between ages seven and eight and ten and thirteen. Her father had a heart attack and also a problem with alcoholism. Her mother died in her late 30’s of cirrhosis of the liver. Her paternal great-grandmother died of diabetes. Two paternal aunts and an uncle also had diabetes. Another paternal aunt had hay fever. A paternal aunt had skin cancer, and another had breast cancer. The birth mother’s paternal great-grandmother died of tuberculosis. A paternal uncle of the birth mother had lung cancer and a maternal cousin was born with a partial arm. A close relative of the birth mother had been born without any joints in one hand. Other relatives had high blood pressure, heart conditions and kidney disease (at the time it was called "Brights’s Disease"). However the birth mother’s siblings had excellent health. The nationality was supposedly German/Russian, Dutch/German/"Sioux Indian" I don’t know how reliable this information is.
Also I know that my birth mother had one child before me. She would be either my sister of half sister.
I live in Asheville, NC
I do not know any surnames associated with my birth parents.
1070. Chancey222 : Birth Mom is PatrIcia Ann Johnson/Hladane/Marks? I was born In Charlotte, NC, but adopted in South Carolina. Lived in Spartanburg area. I have 2 half sisters, that I know of.

You use to cook chicken and rice and never liked it.i Know u use to love ice cream. You we’re 5 when adopted.sealed out of Nash county DSS. You looked me in the eyes and said mama I love you and I will see you again one day. You were a very smart little boy.it was somewhere around 1984or 86 when.you we’re adopted.
1075. Shawngoss : Born at the University hospital in Charlotte NC. Birth mother reportedly 19 yrs of age. Biological father was going into Air Force. Birth mother not from North Carolina but from "a state not normally considered a southern state" as was told to me by the Catholic Diocese. Mother and father met at a movie theater where they both worked over the summer. Mother was living with aunt and uncle at time of my delivery.
1078. Eagleacoutmom : I know that NC is a state that still deals all adoption records, so its sites like this, ancestry, 23 & Me etc to help.
My parents married in 1964 and started trying to start a family shortly thereafter. After several years of no success, they were told they would not be able to concieve. They then decided ro adopt. They went through Martin County, NC DSS. My brother was adopted via Childrens Home Society in Tarboro, NC (Edgecombe County). Our parents were from Williamston, NC (Martin County). They picked him up/brought him home on June 11, 1970. He was just shy of 5 months old. We were told that his bio parents were 19, college students, unmarried, and not in a position to raise a baby.
Our parents were then able to concieve and give birth to 3 biological children.....me (b 1972), a boy (b. 1981) and a north boy (b. 1983). We all have known about my older brothers adoption since day 1(I dont ever remember a time I didn’t know). Our parents were killed in a car accident in 2008 and it was after that that I started thinking about my brothers bio parents. He has 2 children (a girl 21, and a boy 17)
1079. Frida79 : I was adopted on April 10th, 1979 from the Children’s Home Society in North Carolina, not sure but possibly in Greensboro. I was born on January 31st in North Carolina 7:52am and weighed 6lbs,5oz.
1080. Tgannon1423 : My name is Tierney Gannon. I am looking for my half-sister who was born in April 1995. Her parents are Patrick M. Gannon and Abigail L. Haw (now Phelps), who met at Morehead Staate University. I do not know my sister’s name since all documents that I have access to only list her as "Baby Girl Haw" or "Haw."
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
