2311. AshleyNic : April Larraine Parker- Mom (gave brother up for adoption) Mother’s birthdate 4-1-1970
Lincolnton‚ Lincoln County‚ North Carolina
(Not sure what the hospital was called in 1988-1989‚ which would be the possible years my brother was born)
Doctor’s name was possibly Dr. John Chang (ob/gyn) Lincolnton‚ North Carolina
My mom April passed away when I was 8 years old. My grandmother told me once I was older that my mom gave a baby up for adoption right after I was born (1987)‚ my mom didn’t name the child or even see him after birth‚ my brother would be biracial (black and white). My mom lived in Lincolnton‚ NC her whole life so the hospital and agency that helped with the adoption would be located in or around
surrounding areas. That’s about all I know!
2312. Sairaleewonders : My father was adopted when he was younger or a baby. He died in 1994 and I knew nothing about my family and I’m trying to find someone I’m actually related to.
2313. Mia12fahu : Dear Mikal‚
My family adotped you from Ethiopia and you came to live with us for a year before we had to send you to another family. We had wanted another child and the angency we used lied to us about you‚ so we were unprepared to take care of you. I am sorry we had to find you another family. I imagine this was traumatic.
I was one of two of your siblings from your temporary home. At the time I was about 9 or 10 in around 2008 or so. We lived in NC.
I wanted to create this profile‚ becuase over the years‚ as I grew up‚ I began to love you for who you were as I was not able to at the time since I was an imature kid. Since we adotped you and our last name is complicated‚ I did not know if you would remeber how to find us and DNA tests would not connect us. I assumed you would be mad at us or sad and that is ok. But should you ever want to ask us what happened for closure with our family and you‚ I created this in case. I think my mopther gave you all she had on your adoption from Ethiopia‚ but if you want to call me and ask me about that‚ I will talk about what I know (it is not much‚ I did not understand).
I wish you well in life‚ even if you read this or never read this. I hope you are happy and get what you wish for in life. Your other sibling you had wishes you a good life too.
Your former sibling

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
