A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within North Carolina Who Chose To Be Featured
1996. VictoriaB53 : I am searching for a cousin of mine which my aunt Theodosia Price (Squadron) birthed and immediately put up for adoption after returning from a European backpacking trip which she took with my mother, Antonie Price Backlund as some sort of celebration when one of the two graduated high school (most likely my biological mother Antonie, born in 1957, as she is the younger of the two. I only found out about this long, lost cousin at some point in my later 20’s and have always wondered what happened with her life. I know that my aunt Theodosia aka Teddy & my mother were living in Bloomington, Illinois with my Nana & Papa (Barbara and William Price) when the two returned from Europe and Theodosia found out she was Pregnant with this child which she was pretty much forced to put up for adoption after placed into hiding at an unknown location until her little baby girl was born. The only other detail which I was told was that her first name began with an A, something such as Annabelle, Anastasia, etc. I was born in 1983 and am pretty sure that my cousin was born sometime during the 1970’s.
1997. Alexandriaosmanski3 : His original name was Anthony Mark Williamson I’m not sure if they changed it or not, he was born in Asheville North, Carolina, it was also an open adoption with a church.
1999. AngieWilson : I was told I was born July 3 1966 at Cabarrus Hospital in Concord NC. I was also told I was adopted through the Cabarrus County Welfare Department when I was approximately 3 months old. That is about all of the info that I was given.
2000. Rebekah_Logsdon : I was born and raised around winston salem. I believe my biological mother/family is or was from Surry county. The adoption agency says my mother last contacted in 1992 and believes I have a older brother and a younger sister and that my grandfather died of emphazima. (Might not be correct). I have 2 girls of my own and I’m wanting to reach out to try to find my bio mom to see about medical history. If she wants a relationship, that is a huge bonus!!!!
2001. Kerrieobaby31 : iam looking for my son his birth name is andrew richard woodbury his birthday is july 25 2002 iam searching for him he was born is albany ny and last known were abouts is in sanantonio texas please can someone help me find him thank you he just turned 19 this month

2008. Katsid1 : My mom gave up a son through Children’s Home in Winston-Salem NC the names on birth certificate was Bettie Lou Calloway Smith as mother and father was listed as Danny Lee Smith. Not sure of birthday or exact year
