1848. Trhartis : Looking for family. Parents-possibly deceased, siblings or cousins. I know/think I was born in Charlotte, NC In June 19th of 1963 as that is on my birth certificate. I was taken home by my adopted parents in July on or about the 16th of same year. Always had hoped to reunite but never made it a priority until now. I did have someone reach out to me many years ago, approximately 1988, and said they thought they were my brother. I really was not prepared and thought it may be some type of joke or scam so never followed up. Probably should have. Not a lot but perhaps will resonate with someone.

The adopted boy, Mason, was adopted shortly after his mother gave birth. She didn’t want a reminder of her affair with my husband (ex husband now). She told me she was giving Mason to her cousins whom lived outside of Illinois (where we all live) in a different state. I don’t remember the state she told me tho because that was 12-13 years ago.
I think my daughter deserves to know her one and only step sibling. And she wants to know him, too!
When college time comes along for both of them, I don’t want them to meet and fall in love and end up finding out too late that they are siblings. Mason’s mother, Mandy, shouldn’t want that either.
I think Mandy is afraid that if I find Mason, I will tell him about his real dad and what a narcissist he is and that Mandy doesn’t want her son to ever meet his birth father.
