Family and friends were told that she was attending Appalachian State. Your father was from Bar Harbor‚ ME‚ but had been attending college in Kentucky‚ where they met (Lexington). I was told that my mom then did an impression of his voice. "BAHHHH HAAAABAAHHH. In Maine." Sounded authentic to me‚ especially considering she was an actress and regularly did lots of weird accents out loud.
