2552. Rpaschal : I am searching for my birthparents and specifically my birth mother. I was born on June 22‚ 1984 in Greensboro‚ NC and adopted through the Children Home Society. I pray that we will finally meet.
2553. Cynthiahamilton : The woman who adopted me is named Betty Jean Hamilton. Some of my non identifying information states that I have half brothers and/or sisters.
2556. Johnpaulend : Our adopted son had a great birth mother. She always gave us her new address‚ phone‚ and email address. We have lost touch but would love to catch up and see how she is doing. At the time of John’s birth her name was Jessica Harrington. She married John’s birth father (Ricky Erickson) shortly after his birth. Her name became Jessica Erickson. She left Ricky in Rhode Island and moved to North or South Dakota (I can’t remember which). She married again but I forgot her new name.
2557. Bubbasjukebox : I was told the DNA came back as not my child‚ I was still a kid myself‚ literally just signed an application for low income apartments‚ when my parents get a call that I am required to do a DNA for two kids‚ my estranged wife had. I married her to help her get on her feet w/ her other kids‚ after 3 weeks of marriage. I realized she was troubled and needed more help than I could give‚ she left while I was at work with a guy she met at the pool hall. Every six months to another year or so she would pop up‚ wanting to change and needing help. So in comes me‚ the non-cape wearing Superman‚ to save the day. Till I could not do it any more‚ so that’s when I get the subpoena.
2558. HeatherO1970 : I have discovered via Ancestry.com that my birth father’s name was Robert O’Conner and he was in the Army his sister‚ Mary‚ believes that my mother visited their home for just a few days in early 1970. I am aware that my mother had brothers in the military and I was born at Cape Fear Hospital in Fayetteville‚ NC
2561. JenMSRP : The last thing I heard was that my son’s adopted family had given him the name Miles. My maiden name is Smith. I am not sure who the adopted parents are or where they are located. The adoption was finalized in Burke County‚ NC and was a closed adoption through the Department of Social Services. The social worker who helped me was named Kristen Shade. I would love to meet Miles so I can let him know that I only gave him up so that he could have a life I would not have been able to provide but that it does not mean that I don’t love him or that I wouldn’t love to get to know him and be part of his life‚ if that’s something he would like as well. I also would love to thank his parents for being there for him and providing him a home when I didn’t possess the means. I am so thankful that they were able to bring him into their lives. To Miles: I am so sorry to you for making the decision that I did but only because I would never want you to hurt or feel pain because of my choices. I do hope that you have had a better life and childhood than I experienced. You are so special and deserve everything this world has to offer.
2563. Altvmill : I am not sure if i was adopted‚ but i was not raised by my biological mother. I was born in Concord NC I don’t know the name of the hospital.
2564. Sheaharris : My mother shirley adams johnson or sherry was giving to helen adams in 1959 she didn’t legally adopt mz mom until 1989 my mom has passed in 2019 due to a heart attack but I would still like to find her birth family
2565. IceBluBeauty : Looking for birth mother. She’s supposedly a nurse (RN) in Missouri or Kansas. Not sure. 1st name Lavada. She is from NC originally.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
