1574. Divine336 : My name is Willie Scales. My parents that adopted me were Rev James & Delores Scales. My birth certificate says that I was born in Newton, NC(Catawba County). But after going to Raleigh NC and doing research, I actually was told that Wilson County was also on my original birth certificate that was sealed. The representative took only about 5mins. to come back and inform me with a smile on her face that by law she could only give me eye color and height. At that time, NC records were sealed. But now, the laws have changed and they now I guess unsealed. Someone plz help with any information. I can’t afford the cost for a private investigator.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
