2388. SarinaElizabeth : I am looking for my Aunt.
My grandmother became pregnant in High School and said she was sent the the Methodist Home for Un Wed mothers in Brooklyn NY.
2389. Westwind1002 : I am searching for birthparents for my husband who died In October 2007. He was adopted in Guildford North Carolina. He was born on February 2‚ 1951. He was adopted by a doctor Physician and his wife from Charleston‚ South Carolina and recorded 2-20-51 by JWR Norton state register.
2391. Clcjt : You would be my niece born at Ford Bragg North Carolina March 29 1974 and you would be of mixed nationalities African American and Pacific Islander your Mother was 4’11 inches tall and only 17 years old at the time of your birth & she was staying with and Aunt and Uncle in Spring Lake North Carolina but her home at the time was in Fairfield California . You would have been adopted through Catholic Charities in Fayetteville NC. at least that’s where you were placed for adoption right after birth. your parents first names were Norma and Kevin (not married only high school students) and you were and always have been loved
2392. Condrey : At 16 I gave birth to a Baby Boy with blonde hair. he was born 1/1/82 at Rowan Regional hospital in Salisbury NC. He was taken from me immediately as my parents forced me to give him up for adoption. Times were different back then. Greensboro NC Children’s home was contacted and assisted with the adoption. Since that time I have long for him and never stop thinking about him. The name on the birth certificate was "Baby Boy Condrey". Because I wanted to give the birth parents the privilege of giving him a name. I have always hoped that someday he would find me and I could tell him that he was given up because he WAS LOVED. I lived at home with a very abusive father. Although my parents forced me to give him up I did not argue as I did not want my child around my father. I wanted a better life for him.
2393. Ear5868 : We are searching for a half sister born to our mom before marriage‚ she was about 18 years old. We think baby was born in the fall around September of 1962-63. She most likely was born in Charlotte‚ NC.
2394. Pyeburns : My grandmother was adopted in Wilkes County North Carolina to Willis Howard and Cordia Simpson in 1940. My great grandfather Willis Howard worked at the hospital she was born but I lost her birth certificate and cannot remember the name of the hospital. They then moved to Raeford‚ North Carolina and he worked for the hospital near where he lived until he retired shortly after I was born. The only information that was given to my family is that reason for the adoption was that my grandmother was born to a Native American woman and a Caucasian man. My great grandparents died without telling her who her parents were and my maternal grandmother died in 2018 not knowing who her parents were. I was told at some point in my life that we are part Lumbee but I am unsure of this because the Lumbee lived in Hoke County and surrounding counties. I understand that the Lumbee tribe is part of three other tribes in North Carolina.
2395. Ear5868 : Searching for a half sister given up for adotion. Mother (Patricia Ann Cooper) was 18-19‚ unmarried‚ Baby girl was possibly born during the fall of 1962-1963‚ In Charlotte NC.
