A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within North Carolina Who Chose To Be Featured
781. BruceParker : I would like to meet my son Josh. My name is Bruce Lanier Parker. Your mothers name was Francis Presley and our son was born in Asheville, NC. The mother has married and I do not know her last name and unfortunately my only contact with her died, Don Andrews. The mother resided in the Arden/Fletcher, NC area at the time of your birth. I live in Hollywood, FL. All I know is that Josh was adopted by a family in Raleigh, NC and that is all the Childrens Home Society would tell me. Have tried to contact the mother but since by friends death, to know avail. I realize he (Josh) may not want to meet me. I completely understand that, and fully accept that. I was very young at the time of his birth but have thought about him every day of my life since. Even though I have never met him, I do love him, as I did his mother. Unfortunately, I was just to young to handle the responsibilities of fatherhood at the time of his birth. That is not an excuse, just simply the facts. It took me a long time to grow up but during this process of growing up not a day went by that I did not think of him, and still do. I just hope the family that adopted him treated and raised him better than I would have at that young age. With all my heart and love, your biological father, Bruce. PS: I hope I meet you before my demise, which I do not think is going to happen any time soon, but you never know, when God decides your number is up, your number is up. God bless you and your family if you have one. Unfortunately, I have no family, except a sister, a brother, a nephew and you. If you decide that you do not want to meet me I completely understand that and would only say I wish the absolute very best for you and yours!! I made a lot of mistakes in my life but the worst was giving up you. Hope to meet you some day, but I completely understand if you don’t. Just remember, I think about you every single solitary day! PSS: I do not even know the month, the day or the exact year you were born, so I just answered the questions with my best guess. It really was just a guess by I think the year was 78 or 79. Sorry, I was pretty screwed up back then, my apologies.
