It was a semi-open adoption. I was not allowed to contact them , but they sent me pictures for 15 years once a year, I had him at New Hanover Regional Hospital. And had three wonderful days with him. I still live in Wilmington NC, where I gave birth to him

The child was conceieved in/around Lexington, NC and born in/around Knoxville, TN in the mid-late 1990’s. He is of mixed race (mother white, father African-American). The mother went through a catholic organization for the adoption. That is all the information I know at this time, but am in contact with the mother and trying to learn more.
1647. Cinda57 : My daughter was born at Memorial Hospital in Burlington NC. The Department of Social Services did the adoption. A lady name Margaret were keeping her until SS came and got her. I sign temporary papers and suppose to had gotten her back after 6 months and the SS worker treat me , because later on years later she was fired, because she did another mother the same. I got to find her because she is a twin, I’ve paid agency to find her but only for them to take my money, my other daughter tried to find her while she was in The Navy but to find out the records are seal.

1650. Meme1969 : I’m in search of a brother born to Diane Norris in Erwin, NC between 1996 and 1998. I found my biological father in November 2019 and he passed away in March of 2020. Before he passed he told me that he had a child with Diane. I have found 1 brother about 9 years ago and a sister 7 years ago and we all have the same father, we have all done DNA confirming this. Now we just want to find this sibling.
