3047. Chris112084 : My grandfather was born in Calypso NC and was adopted by Everrett and Alva Preston from Haddonfield/Cherry Hill/Ewing NJ. He was born in October 1935 or 1936. Birth name was William Ray from what I was told but no other information about his name. Possibly one sister.
3048. Latonyasummers : My sister was born on August 11‚ 1974 at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. She was taken from our mother (Brenda Ivey McAllister) after birth or shortly thereafter. Her birth name was Tyesha (spelling is incorrect) Lynette Ivey. Her birth father was Danny McAllister. Our mother is ill and I would like to introduce the two if Tyesha is interested. Brenda has yearned for her for years.
3050. Catcher1966 : My adopted mom told me they adopted me at 7 months old from a Children's Home in Lexington‚ NC. I think this may have been the Baptist Children's Home‚ because she told me the nuns gave her a bible with my schedule written down of how they had been taking care of me. My adopted mom told me they went through the Johnston County Social Services to adopt me. She was told that my mom was 16 or 17 from Georgia and her parents made her give me up. They brought her to Lexington‚ NC to give birth to me and leave me. My husband bought me the 23andMe DNA test and that got me to sign into Ancestry.com. I have been matched with some 1st‚ 2nd‚ and 3rd cousins in the Lexington‚ NC area which makes me wonder if my dad could have possibly been from that area if my mom was from Georgia? I really do not know where else to look and I am just getting started on this journey‚ so I really hope filling out this form here on adopted.com can help in a big way. Thank you.
3051. Myirritator : Looking for sister or brother born June 3‚ 1963 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville‚ NC to Hazel Virginia James. Adoption name possibly Brown? All I really know is that my mother (gone 30 years now) had a second child born on this date...
3053. TinaMarie45 : Danielle‚ my sweet baby girl... I'm reaching out to you‚ it's been 10 yrs. My child.... I'm sure you have questions and I hope I have all your answers.. I would love to see-meet you and hopefully Rayne... My heart has hurt every day since the awful‚ worst day of my life. I hope you reach back and i understand if you don't‚ but I look forward to seeing the two of you ladies one day..
I love you always have my beautiful child..
Love Always‚
Your momma‚ Tina Marie
3054. Crissie89 : So I'm searching for information on my grandmother who is Wilma Lucille Jones and then later Johnson and I believe the story my other grandma told me was that she was adopted or somehow I was Cherokee from that side but she died in 1971 and no one knows much about anything of her so I'm just trying to figure out if that's the case or find answers. I know that she grew up in North Carolina in 1931 she was born she died in 1971 so not even 40 years old she left behind five children and I'm just trying to get some answers about my grandma
3056. BeaSearchin26 : She is the oldest out of the 3 but last I knew Lisa Newland was the person I signed them over too please help me find my babies 🙏🏾
3057. BeaSearchin26 : Lisa Newland was whom I signed all 3 over too as far as I know I just want to find them I just wanna know they are ok hear their voices
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
