1700. MuppetMom : I am a birthmother in search of my son. DOB 6/20/92 in Winston-Salem‚ NC at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. The agency involved was Family Services in Winston- Salem. Adoptions at this time were all closed‚ so that I only knew the “profile” of the adoptive parents. Supposedly‚ they were both in the medical field. We exchanged pictures and letters for the first few years however‚ I am sure the agency redacted identifying information. Someone knows this guy and knows if he wants to find me. :)
1701. Maryann007 : Looking for a child, male/female born approx. January 5, 1971 in Cleveland County, NC. Gave birth to only one baby, but was told by head nurse going into labor that x-rays showed twins & first one coming breach. Doctors never told me I was having twins. I was separated from husband at the time. I asked doctor before c-section and doctor denied I was having twins and got very upset. Head nurse was sent home. Two weeks after birth, I returned to hospital and requested to see my x-rays and were told they had been "lost"!!! My medical records had been misplaced also. Found out a year later that this clinic was trying to get women to give up children so wealthy couples could adopt them. In other words, they were selling babies. I believe it is possible I had twins of which one was stolen from me by these doctors and sold. Possibly adopting parents knew nothing about baby being stolen. Child would have round face, blue or green eyes, sandy blonde hair, beautiful. This is a long shot I know, but I have dreamed about another child so often I must learn the truth. Been searching since 1971.
1704. Irishmist : Several years ago, through Ancestry.com, I was successful in contacting siblings of both maternal and paternal birth parents. However, I am also interested in learning more about extended birth families.

The only information I have about my birth parents is my mother was 33 when I was born with a spouse or exspouse in military. My father was 27 when I was born.
1706. Catlaw71 : Birth mother’s name Deavon Era Barrett. She gave birth to twin boys (biracial) at Nash General Hospital, Rocky Mount, NC. The boys were taken home from the hospital by their adoptive parents. Adoption was handle by an adoption agency that was in Rocky Mount, NC. Their birth names were Thomas Wayne and Jeremy Wayne (I believe those names are right). Baby A born at 9:53 19 1/2 inch 6lbs and Baby B born at 9:52 20 1/2 inch 7lbs. Birth mom lived in Weldon, NC.
1708. Ogl066 : I am searching for my birth siblings born in VA or NC. Possibly born in South Hill, South Boston or Danville, Va. Bio mother’s name was Charlcie Gaylena O’Quinn. Her DOB was 5/15/1942. She is now deceased. There were possibly five of us given up for adoption sometime between 1966 and 1978-1979.
The oldest one was born in 1963 or 1964 and was around two or three yrs of age when adopted. Possible birth name Michael Letterman or Michael O’Quinn.
