1384. Csbrown : My name is Courtney Brown my Dad Jeff Brown had a baby with a woman he met in prairie du chien WI. He was 16 years old and gave away his rights at the Hastings MN courthouse. The year would have been 1972/1973. He was told it was a baby girl. I am not positive my sister was adopted or not. Would love to find her and connect.
1386. Kbean47 : Hello everyone. I am looking for some information about my grandmother. She was adopted at a very young age around 2-3 to my only known great grandparent Marie and Nels Husby. My grandmother was born in 1926, and I census I found had a different name then the name I knew her to have. Her name was Betty and I knew her as Rita. We were told stories through the years but never knew if any of it were true. Everyone on her side of the family (although she was an only child), my uncles, cousins, great grandparents - everyone is gone with no information. I have been wondering and searching for many years as to where she came from. I have no other information.
1387. Tsilveria : I am searching for the family that adopted Marline "Mary" Sydney Bruce in 1933‚ from the Salvation Army Women’s home‚ St. Paul‚ MN. Marline went from MN to CA‚ where she passed in 1960‚ at 27. There is so much about her life we don’t know and would like to fill in the missing years. Her mother was Margaret Bruce of Stillwater‚ Ramsey County‚ MN. She was only 18 at the time. She died of a gunshot two years later. If anyone knows of the adoptive family‚ please make contact. ty

I am trying to determine if he was transferred to the Foundling Hospital after birth or if he was with his mother before being sent on the Orphan Train to Minnesota.
1392. DragoneFire : This is not for me. I do my families family tree. My father asked me not to look for his parents while he was alive. He has since passed. He grew up in minneapolis‚ mn with a family named Sundberg. I can only find where he was a lodger there. Trying to find out more info on my paternal side of family. His name is LeRoy Thompson. He told me once his mothers name was Lydia Thompson‚ but never said whether that is maiden or fathers name.
1393. RevTimmay : I am looking for Debra Cooper from Shockapee, MN. Sperm donor bailed on her and left her on her own to try and raise me. She couldn’t. I was given to the "church" and then adopted in Bloomington, MN. I know a few other details but I’ll hold on to them.
1395. Makena1 : My half brother’s name is Matthew. He has blue eyes and blonde hair or did when he was born. His parents who adopted him are named Missy and Doug and they are a doctor and a lawyer and have a house in Florida. My mom Michelle had Matthew and put him up for adoption when she was 18.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
