1952. Annarezz : Searching for a half brother that my mom gave up at birth over 50 years ag. I’m assuming she gave him up in Minnesota but maybe in Wisconsin.
1953. Nanania : My husband is searching for his son who he did not know about until 48 years after his birth. He was told he was born in March of 1973. He doesn’t know the location of his birth. The birth mother had lived in Iowa and Missouri prior to the pregnancy and the father from Iowa.
1954. Afroviking : My search is for a half sibling that was put up for adoption in Winona‚ MN or somewhere in Winona county‚ MN that occurred sometime in the mid 1960s. Mothers name at the time was Sheila Benson. Sibling is Male.
1956. AmyJoMN : My step-dad Dale Wedell died in 2015. He had always wanted to find his birth family. Now my sister‚ his daughter‚ has developed some illnesses and we are hoping to find out family health history. My dad was born 7/11/1953 in Faribault‚ MN. His birth mom was approximately 16 years old. We do boy know if she was from this area or not. He was adopted by a loving couple in Milaca‚ MN. I believe he was around 1 yr old at that time. The profile picture is of him when he was younger.
1957. Gordo2e : Hello‚
My name is Eric Song Gordon and live in MN. Grew up in Forest lake MN to adoptive parents William and Susan Gordon. I am 39 years of age and looking for answers finally. Born in South Korea under the name Song Jung Yoon. I have come a long way and have had an unfortunate childhood. If anyone could help it would be great my adoptive mother kept all of my records and am no longer in contact with her or my adoptive family. I still have the original nationalization certificate and realize it will be a big help.
Thank you‚
Sincerely‚
Eric S. Gordon
1958. ChelseaB : Hi!
Me and my 3 bio sisters (all adopted out in 1980‚86‚90‚&91) are looking for a lost sibling born in 1988 in MN‚ that we only know about from one of the sister’s adoption records. The child/sibling could have been born in Washington‚ Ramsey‚ or Hennepin county. Birth mothers name is Kathy or Kathryn - has been known to go by both. We do not have very much information on this lost sibling unfortunately and I do not know if the sibling is a boy or a girl either..All of us had closed adoptions and only found each other due to 23&me. We all get along so well and even in a short time have created such a great bond and we would love nothing more than to find our other one! We are also aware there may be even more than just the one - so if you were born in any of those counties either between 1980 to 1991 or after and had a closed adoption‚ but maybe had a similar situation in knowing there are more of you due to the adoption records‚ to not hesitate to reach out! If you have not done a 23&me and feel like we may be who you are looking for - then just know if you do one and we come up a match‚ we will welcome you with open arms!
1959. ChelseaB : Hi - my sisters and I are looking for a sibling that would have born in 1994 or 1995‚ either in CA‚ NV‚ or MN.. Maybe Wisconsin. Birth Mom’s last name would have been Baxton at the time‚ although if you have an OBC it could indicate Heurkins too. If you think you may be a match‚ please reach out!!!
1960. ChelseaB : Hi‚ my name is Chelsea and I was born in MN. Bio’s last name is Heurkins or Baxton. I have all the info for her side and have connected w/ my half siblings (which has been SO much fun). We are still missing 2 possible siblings from mom born in either MN or CA! I am also looking for any connections that may be on my Bio Dad’s side. I do not have any information when it comes to them. I have done a 23&Me and will be sending in an ancestry kit here soon though! I also have uploaded to GDmatch & my Heritage. If you think we may be a match of some sort‚ please reach out! I would love to hear from you.
1962. EllieE : Looking for my half uncle. He had leukemia in the 80s and very well may have passed but if not‚ I’d love to meet him! His birth mother’s name was Mary Martin‚ he was born in the twin cities between my other half uncle (1961) and my dad (1971). My grandma couldn’t afford to raise him on her own. She loved him deeply though and only never looked because she was afraid we would find out that the leukemia won and it’d be like losing him all over again.
1963. Jasmine_Bartley : My brother would be bi-racial. He was adopted to a caucasian family. The adoptive parents worked for a school system possibly‚ maybe a bus driver. He was given up for adoption at birth through a Catholic or Lutheran Adoption Service.
1964. Tracy91996 : I gave birth to Anthony Lee on September 19th ‚ 1996. I had him in Faribault‚ Minnesota at District One Hospital. I chose his adoptive parents Tom and Missy who are Christians and lived on a farm. Missy got pregnant soon after they got Anthony and had a son. They renamed my son Dylan Anthony. Carol B. Was my case worker who handled the adoption in Rice county. He has two sisters who are with me.
1965. ARenee323 : My father was born December 22‚ 1961. He passed away when I was 9 months old‚ December 23‚ 1988. He had attempted to locate his birth parents who were both from Elkhart‚ IN. His birth mother was sent to Hennepinin Minnesota to have him & he was brought back to be adopted at 3 months old accompanied by a social worker. His mother is said to have been just 18 at his birth & had lived nearby the biological father. He has notes from calling the welfare department and my mother had told me it was like they were reading him a letter from his birth mother. Supposedly the father worked for the mother’s father‚ asked her to marry him and she declined. She had reddish brown hair‚ blue eyes & was an only child. She was in glee club‚ part of the school paper and wrote some articles for the yearbook. The birth father was a sophomore business major in college at the time of my father’s birth. The mother wanted to go to beauty school‚ be a model or an airline stewardess. I would love to find my biological grandparents‚ knowing they are from the immediate area where I have grown up and lived my 35 years I have always wondered if we have crossed paths.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
