Birth Mother would have been about 20 and was forced to place the infant for adoption by her family. The birth mother’s mother and sister were with her during the birth. The birth mother is white (Scandinavian heritage‚ mostly Norwegian). My sister‚ brother‚ and I have been searching for our sister for many years. I currently have my DNA submitted to ancestry dna‚ ftdna‚ my heritage dna and I am in the process of submitting a sample to 23 and me. The birth mother has recently submitted the paperwork to the state of mn to release the original birth records.

1097. Titan161 : I am searching for relatives of my grandmothers birth family‚ the Rhylanders of moorhead‚ mn in the early1930s. I am searching for answers to health and heritage questions. My grandmothers birth name was Gladys Rhylander and Her brothers birth name was Earl Rhylander and both were taken to the Owatanna state orphanage in the 1930s and places for adoption by their father. I believe the father’s name was Ruben Rhylander and the mother name was Emma Rhylander (hazeldahl)‚ and they had another son the father took with him named Westley Rhylander. Emma and Ruben filed for divorce in North Dakota in 1936. I have been told that a person named Toots Grinacker was a relative of rhe birth family. I have not been able to find any other information on my Grandmothers birth family. Gladys was adopted by the Nyrud family in Willow River and Earl was adopted by the Orgis Family in Holendale‚mn.

The birth mother Joyce Elizabeth Chaston was a young mother at the time between 24 years old to 26 years old from Salt Lake City Utah. At the time could of had more children her last names she had was Binch, Rasmussen, Armitage, Taylor, Monge and maybe Murphey
